Okay so I tried to upload my game but it doesn't appear in the list!
Is this because you have to put it there?

you can add any game as you wish.
however when adding a game, remember this:

(i'm putting this in a codebox so i can draw ASCII art).

if you do it the "wrong" way, GM will not be able to install the game properly.

You would have to press [ctrl]+[f5] in the webbrowser to see instand changes.
GM does not support that however. so it will probably take 10mins before the game is visible in the list.

you can check out this link: http://lukasw.com/downloads/gameManager/news/?page=stat
to see if your game was added.
later i will build up a list of game names, and who wrote it.

and no, i don't have to "approve" it. it is all automatic.

You are supposed to have that dll. it comes with DBPro, or atleast mine did.

i have attached the dll to this post, put it in your Windows/System directory.

i have had problems with it so far

take a look at this code snippet:

you said in the email that the Application will unzip the packed file to a folder with the name "zipName%folderName".

but when i run the Set Dir command to the folder that should exist i get an error saying that the path doesn't exist. in other words it did not unzip the packed file.

edit,
the backslash letters have been removed.. apollo did that

Uh...no. It's "zipName%GameName". It unzips to the zip file name without the extension. So if you do this:

"sheephunter.zip%SHEEP HUNTER"

In the downloads directory there will be a new folder 'sheephunter'. If you want I can make it store the extraction info in an ini file.

EDIT: I can also store it in an array, either is especially good since you can tell whether or not it failed (it could say 'FAILED' or something in place of the directory if it didn't work)

You need to make it so one one of the tabs it say FPSC too because some people make games with FPSC.......

People think DarkBASIC is for noobs and isnt professional, but i think its the future of game programming. Do you agree with me? Just reply to this thread saying you do.

You mean in the drop down menu where it currently says DB or DBP? I don't know, I wouldn't reccomend that for Lukas, there probally will be alot of games showing up there that all look the same Maybe though...

When I unzipped v0.6, and chose a game to download, the download button is all flickery, and when I click it, it says that I don't have an internet connection. I tried without my firewall, and I do have an internet connection, so can you please help? Any extra information you need?

Thanks,
UFO

indeed that is odd.
i have NO idea what may cause it, other than the application is blocked by your firewall (which you have turned off).

can you download it from here?

Hmmm. It worked on another computer. I don't know why it didn't work on the other one. weird...

I'll try doing other things on my computer when I have time.

Thanks!
