Luke, before uploading fix Part 1 so as it doesn't crash to desktop when loading. That will help the non-Developers, such as myself, so your game can be played and will get more possitive reviews. I got frustrated and deleted them. On this website for "Game Developers" the only responce to my cry for help was from someone (Game Station) that had the same problem. Thanks.

I really think that this should be stickied. It is an amazing reference for newcomers to come see what is possible with FPSC. This thread has been alive for 6 months and is still kicking. I feel it deserves a part in FPSC history.

Can anyone please tell me how to un-zip the level files that are encrypted. Never seen a game with encrypted files before. I don't use a password since I'm the only person with access to my comp. Never needed to set one up.

I think so as well. It is also great use of stock, model pack, and custom media. It shows you don't have to be a great modeler to create a good game.

Vote today and play the games!

I agree

TATBS 1.8 is now fully functional. Brilodis is having its districts extracted to Battle City. Krina and Karin are twice the size. And you’ll see 5 times as many breeds of monsters... It’s Kalspher V3.

I sadly cant get the first game to work, even if I bypass the menu and go strait for the exe in the folder, however I was able to play the second one, but only in the same manner, by going directly to the games folder. But what I played was amazing. You really put allot of effort into those cutscenes. Keep it up! Will there be a part3?

I have no idea if I will be able to find the thread...but I remember some guy (Merranvo? now known as Les Horribles, or this other guy whose name escapes me), apparently got a working flashlight in game, but then his thread got locked. I didn't follow the thread that well, but apparently it was a Riker 9 situation.

Anyway, the way Luke did it was he just displayed a flashlight beam HUD over the srceen when the user pressed the appropriate key.

nice to see someone create a free professional game :/ i like the way people talk about it on the threads :/ you dont see that when they sell them and its a shame :/

Are you going to release any of the map layouts ?

edit:

erm i feel bad because i forgot his name, but someone on the scripts board i think, made a handheld flashlight that used a large white crosshair as the torches beam :/

@ Inspire : The flashlight was from me and was a thread posted a while back.(looks at this old thread : http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=90431&b=24)

I have by mistake leak the working flashlight on the forum if you look you will find it.

Actually, the thread was by Zizaco.

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&b=21&t=82259&p=0

Not your or smitho's. I didn't really follow the thread, so I can't tell you if it's vaporware or not.

EDIT: Reading it now, as far as I can tell, it's just a source edit, not vaporware. Wonder why it got locked.

That is not the flashlight he is using as that needed a changed exe p, I gave Luke314pi the flashlight for his game.

The first working flashlight was done by myself that didnt need a changed exe.

Well virtually... he has to, and I don't see how it could be a sequel without almost the exact same story.

Ending was hilarious, loved it.

Btw... those bricks scared the HELL outta me!!! Wasted 20 rounds trying to kill a brick that scared me.

Excellent job, my friend!

I downloaded and played this last night.

I've only had FPSC for about a week but was ready to give it up for being too limited until I played this game - it's excellent. If only the makers of FPSC put some real resource into developing better AI; a game like this would sell the software to a heck of a lot more more people. X10 is all very well, but it'll be a long time before many people choose to leave XP.

Anyway, I digress. Superb work!

Hey, new here, i just downloaded your game as it looks and sounds awesome! however i start the game up it goes onto the teddy with sword in head screen, it then moves onto the "A Luke341pi Production" but it stays on this screen and doesnt go anywhere. So whats going on? I have the latest dirextx stuff, and i have a very good spec.

when i played this game. it was amazing. i tought fpsc couldnt do alot. but this game showed me the potentail of fpsc. the storyline was asome, the way the lvs were designed, amaszing. i couldnt belive the ending. the videos were cool and funny. the only problem was that when you fight the zombie from model pack 4, he wastes alot of the bullets. still great game 10/10.
