lol. Well, this will only be $20, but the 2D Plug Kit is definately gonna do more on the 2D end then DAP will do.

My computer needs to be taken in for repairs, and I'm running in safe mode at the moment... So I can't say how much longer till I get back to work on DAP, but hopefully soon.

I'm glad I have. I realise that a lot of people here can't even order $3 things off the internet... Either because of their parents, or because they really are just too broke... There are many numerous reasons.

FREE!!!! YAY!! This DLL is amazing.

You say you'll release it in maybe a week -- does that mean that you will leave some things uncompleted?

@Ninja999
No... That means my computer is going in for repairs (I have DAP backed up to my 1 GB USB as well as my OS development stuff... And I still have my DBP disc). It could take a week... I'm taking it in today. Then, when I get it back, I have to fix some stuff with DAP, and prepare a package, as well as turn it into a multiple DLL system.. Because currently it's just one DLL at about 1 or 2 MB.

By the way Aaron, your culling system is 100% done? Am waithing for that since....the begining of DAP
Keep working hard, your pluging will be used and credited on every game here. Am working on a big project, so you will be credited on that project too .
Doing this by the free way, you will be knowed and loved even more by every body all over the wolrd...
Tanks for that, you are the man!

Its not 5$ or 10$ or 20$, its that, only few people here can buy things over the internet. What i suggest to him, is to put a donation link on a web site and those poeple that can donate $, will give him a support for his efforts with DAP plugin.

I'm not sure. My computer is better but won't run DirectX. :/ (I get display mode not supported on DBP applications, and DirectX applications that worked before just close.)

My computer isn't "completely" working atm, but I do finally have the ability to work on my DBP plugins, that said, I'm gonna rewrite this one (To an extent). There are places I can optimise it, places I can improve it, and so on.

I am going to make a new thread, for now you can all continue posting in this one with comments, or suggestions, if you like.

dude, you are the best! I am just starting work on my first release-able game, and now I'm going to put off development (coding) until you release this. If my game (or any game I create) ever goes commercial, I'm definitely going throw some mucho grande your way. It's going to have a huge world that takes at least 30 min to run across in a straight unobstructed line (which it will be obstructed) so any improvement to db's culling will be a godsend, as well as your Distance Alpha Culling, that is if you get around to finishing it. I really like the ability to load objects without being confined to labeling them with a number. I especially like (needless to say) the AA. What level of AA will your plugin support? any more than 4x and I may need a new pair of pants (at the risk of being inappropriate).

Indeed I shall keep the "greatness" up. If anyone wishes to be the first to find the released version of DAP, then go ahead and check here. As that'll be the first place I post. After that, I'm going to post back over here. I'll also be releasing beta versions of the DLLs over there. They won't be complete, but you'd be able to use them for whatever. The only reason I wouldn't over here is because it'd be like spamming.

@Aaron
I can't beleive this! I ran this code 36000 times:

From the maths plugin I'm making, and it took 31 MILLISECONDS
Exactly the same code, but with the ezrotate equivelant it took 93 milliseconds, so I tripled the speed of a commercial plugin

Absolutely wonderful. Remember, we will have to change the names of the commands though, to better suit the user. Ex: In the WinGUI Plugin I made the mistake of having "gui_" as a prefix... I realise now that I shouldn't have done that, as it makes the code look ugly. So we will have to choose some differant names

Indeed, diggsey did a very good job. Good luck with EZ rotate as well.

@deadlyduck
It's in progress, lately I've been working on some extra imagery commands. The best command in it allows you to quickly, and efficiently grab an area of one image and display it to the screen MUCH faster than if you were to do get image and paste image. It has control for diffuse and transparency as well.

DBP, $80. DBP's plugins, $320. Watching DBP Crash, Priceless.

Will this new image command be able to be used with full screen shaders, like bloom, or reflective shaders like water? And will there still be a speed increase?

This imagery command takes on pure Direct3D, and is possible to be used with vertex and pixel shaders, however that must be done through other DAP options, ex, the pure D3D commands. It is likely there will however still be a speed increase, however has not yet been tested for that.

It hasn't been released... If you want, you can bug diggsey about his "EZRotate pwner" part of DAP.

I'll give you this much: It blows away the free version of EZrotate.
It doesn't have near the features that the Enhanced version does though and the speed differences are short lived. The new version of EZrotate (Which is also complete but not yet released) is faster.
I know you are just messing around though, so:

heh heh, yeah I'm messing around. Personally I have no use for the EZrotate, or anything like it though. That's just because I usually tend to be in the editor development area.
