dont worry, i have some plans for those 'spike things' (i dont know either
) but the viewport renderer in max doesnt work well with transparency (on top of another transparent part) so i'll leave this until the end.

yeah the inside is modeled, and the teeth (can be) seperated (just got to disconnect the polygons)
