EDIT
This pack has been released and ready for purchase! :http://www.fpscreator.com/pack18.html

I've been busy lately!

A whopping 23 new characters, along with 3 basic fantasy weapons to get you started - with more on the way! The characters attack with melee, but can also hold all the fantasy weapons too - just give them a crossbow for example. Melee works just like Model Pack 17, each character has 2 melee attacks.

I've made four preview videos, so you can see the weapons and characters in action. They are well worth checking out, love that music! And I love the cyclops roar

http://www.hyrumark.com/barbarian-dwarf-MP18.zip
http://www.hyrumark.com/cyclops-elf-MP18.zip
http://www.hyrumark.com/crusaders-MP18.zip
http://www.hyrumark.com/faun-minotaur-MP18.zip

Here are the new weapons:

And here are the new characters - which include barbarians, crusaders, elves, cylops, dwarves, minotaurs, fauns, and satyrs:

Long time forumers may remember some of this work. As I mentioned earlier, I will be releasing more weapons with these same hands in the near future, along with new characters too.

WOW! Excellent! I can't wait.

I remember seeing the Dwarf and the Cyclops a long time ago.
I remember people suggesting Bows and arrows 'back in the day' too.
Now, I can finally do that western with the cowboys & indians.
I'm glad to see you finished this project Bond, and I'm surprised so soon after 17. (great timing)
Let me pay now as to speed up the ordering process.

I can't decide which is better, your modeling skills or your texturing skill, because you are a pro at both.
I will never be able to thank you enough for going outside of the gun spectrum. Thanks man!

Thanks everyone! I'll tell you what, this pack more than anything is FUN. There's nothing cooler than hitting a cyclops with a satisfying thwack of an arrow as he rears back to swing at you, and then watching him stumble backward. I'm uploading the pack to TGC as I type this. I'll try and post a video later today.

Don't worry, there will be more weapons with these hands down the road. The "sequel" to this pack will contain primarily weapons with a few new characters, the opposite of this first pack which is heavy on characters.

And with a name like BIG Viking Games, you had BETTER buy this pack...or change your name!

I will definately be buying this one. It takes a lot of the pain of modelling and animating my own fantasy weapons and characters for Tristan Craft off. Thanks a ton, bond1!

Yes indeed Nickydude, my next major project will be my favorite genre - HORROR!

But I also want to stress that this will not be a one-time fantasy pack. These pristinely rigged fantasy hands will hold many more weapons in the future - probably released as smaller, more frequent weapon packs or something similar. So buy in confidence!

That was fast, I've just ordered too. Can't wait, hopefully TGC is up late processing orders.

This is in my opinion the best model pack ever released for DBP. The texture variations aren't just cheap recolorings, they make the models look totally different. That's fantastic. Using different sized models really enhanced the effect, too.

The price is unreal. Usually a single model costs that much, if not more, for lower quality junk. For instance, Realmcrafter models.

I can't wait for my e-mail to arrive

This pack DOES work in the original FPSC X9. Like Model Pack 17, the X10 version will be released (at no additional charge) when all the model pack are made X10 compatible.

Styloo, I haven't gotten your emai.

Excellent work once again Mark, and so shortly after MP17! looking forward to seeing the 'more to come' weapons as well

p.s) would you mind sending me a couple full view renders/screen-grabs of the entire arm from a couple angles? i think its best that in what i create (if it does go along as planned) that it continues the same style (or as close as i can get) of this pack's hands so that the whole lot mixes together nicely.

excellent videos as well, loving the animations. good to see melee working nicely.

cant help but laugh at the A4 situation though, whilst yeah its a serious matter, you get a cheap laugh at the constant attempts and lack of subtlety on his side

none the less, THIS IS MADNESS!!

THIS IS....

Really, why can't that guy just pay the 20 dollars, it's not like to end of the world... Actually its very cheap considering this kind of models go for 100 Dollar+ on Turbosquid.

Kewlage
I'm really digging this mix of characters and weapons.
It makes a perfect pack for people who are comfortable making static models but not animated ones.

Quote: "This is in my opinion the best model pack ever released for DBP...The price is unreal. Usually a single model costs that much, if not more, for lower quality junk."

Amen to that

I'm going to pay now Bond , and I'll be watching for teasers of that upcoming horror pack!
Although, I must say these last two packs have given me enough characters to keep me busy awhile.

Thanks again!

The explanation I got when I turned him down for an MP trade of 17 (which someone was apparently stupid enough to do anyway) is that he refuses to give TGC money for products released through them anymore. Logically, he's only screwing Bond1 out of income, as he's gotta be getting a portion of the sale from this pack. The way I see it, someone at TGC needs to seriously consider pressing charges on this guy, as he's blatantly disrespecting the company in doing this.

Bond1, I really want to get this pack. I'm going to wait, however, until I get at least one of my games out of the way so I don't overload the games with characters that don't make sense. Like a classic saying, want selfishly, spend responsibly.

@Bond
Hey man, I think my download is missing a file or either I accidentally deleted it or something.

My Fantasy Characters with the firing weapons just stand there doing nothing.
I checked their AIMAIN and it pointed to "pace10.fpi", but I see no such file in the folders.
Did it get left out by mistake? Did I accidently delete it? Or, am I over looking it somehow?

Could you confirm that the zip is okay, and that the error must be on my end?

Edit
It must be on my end because I just noticed that Pack 17's firing characters use pace10.fpi also. (I hadn't tested the firing ones earlier)
Was pace10.fpi released in an earlier pack? I don't know how I lost that file. (I don't even remember ever having it)
