uv mapping is actually quite annoying int it?

its fussy to say the least but well worth it

great start anyway
note
is that cb pro?

personally i prefer AC3D very easy to understand + a large range of tools and options to create the most perfect models +exports are pretty good to

note 2 bad thing no animation -_-

i am proof

How about you try some scenery that could go in an office or as a home decoration. I find different variations of vases to be good practice. Search contemporary or something like that in google images to get abstract things...Just what I do. Hope this helps!

Alright folks, my second model EVER so be nice. I call him the SpiderCam and I designed him for my sci-fi game. I just need to get him animated...Just gotta figure that out and script him and then he'll be done. Might add some kind of weapon to him at a later date.
Comments always appreciated.

I'm terrified, I was in the army and stationed in Kuwait in 2001. Got into some bother and had extra duty which consisted of filling 1500 sandbags. The texture looks great and the sandbags as well. If I may though, real sandbags are tied at the end but that's really a small thing. Hey, seeing as I've already accidently invaded your page with my model, will you tell me what you think?

Thanks, I got this image of it crawling along the ceiling shooting down at the player. I have no idea how to animate it though. Sandbags are cool, question though, is it a single stackable entity of is it in the shape of the gunner implacement?

There is only one sandbag model, the designer can place the bags on top of each other to fit the need of the game. I find it best to have two layers, the player can croch and be fully covered but can stand up and have room to shoot.

Not bad, I did the search you said but used anim8or and it brought up a few good tuts on animating in anim8or, so groovy. Wonder if it'll still work.

Nice job.
You are coming along fast.

You should move your models up in your modeling program before you save them.
That grid in your 3d view is what the bottom of the model should be sitting on. (like your first steampunk masher thingy)
If you leave them positioned below that axis then your collisions will more than likely be flakey.
