Some texture work:

This texture resolution is 1024x1024 and the water mark is just to prevent somebody to copy it

MODS: Can you please change this threats name to Blackprofductions models and media? thanks

Okay, i started working on the uv maps, but its really messing me up, dont know what happends to it, it just doest use the uv map coordinates for the texture, i have already collapsed all the modifiers, and remade the uvmap like 9 times, still bugging me, i also checked it was in map channel 1 to make sure it wasnt using the wrong channel, but no luck
So i decided to continue with my thompson, its still work in progress, i have to correct polygon errors and finish some parts, but it looks kinda nice(no smothing groups applyied), hope you like it

hi mate models are looking good so far but its kind of hard to see the details of your models with the black background.

if you press 8 on your keyboard it will bring up the background menu just drag the slider down a bit to change the background color then re render it

hope this helps

cheers henry

Wow, The glock looks awesome!

The render looks much better without the black background but another good little trick is to make a clay render. All you do is:
1) Make a skylight
2) Goto render setup
3) Advanced lighting
4) Turn on light tracer
5) Render
It just makes it look alot better.

Well that's good, you can compare your work with others and see what you need to improve on or change, (that is, if anything is needed)

Looks like those walls would do good in a subwy station game level.

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.

Dude, I love your gun models, they're perfect, clean, no uneeded polies, excellent. Although, I would suggest looking into high poly modeling, racer445 has some great high poly gun stuff (even though it's for max) but I have to say good stuff can't wait to see it textured!

Mate, 1100 Polys? You need to delete some polys. Behind the bit under the barrels there is alot of invisible polys, You can delete them, Same with the top of that bit and the end of the handle. It's a waste having them there

Your right, i can delete a lot of polys, thanks for finding it out, havent tought about that
Thats why its always worth posting a screenshot of the wireframe render, its easier to spot wastes or poly errors

Actually, just realized (my bad) that the cylinders have a few too many verts, cut those down a bit, maybe put them at ten or twelve verts
