I wasn't really expecting Cyris or Halo or Modern Warfare, but I was expecting early Duke Nukem, Doom 1 - 3, or early Quake. Perhaps I am expecting too much. I haven't received my copy as yet it takes them forever to check your credit card. They finally "dispatched" it last week.

It is good to know that 50 levels are probably beyond the FPSC engine. How many levels can you build before the game implodes?

Are there any guidelines anywhere with regard to things that do not work and should be avoided in designs?

Nilloc, you might want to fix the name you messed up in your post above(kinda offensive to some).

My wish is for FPSC to be more friendly to custom media(import while running, collision, etc) with more stabilization and optimization.

Years of Work!!??! It must be like painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

I read in the newsletter that this really cool effort called Red Rising (I Think) took 2 years and he knew what what he was doing.

It's possible with fpsc, anything is possible with fpsc, but it's not easy, you may have to mod the engine, and there are ways arounf the build game issue so you can get 50 level games with a crap load of detail and stuff, it's possible, but difficult.

I think a cool idea would be to have a "Map Generator" for people that may be stuck on map ideas.

FPS Creator should check to see what model packs you have purchased and generate random maps with the entities and segments it finds

Don't judge a book by its cover.
