There are so many expletives I could use about how good this is shaping up to be, but I'd get a slap from the Mods!!

Yeah
Not much I can do with the weapons since we have no fpi action to detect a mouse click.
I do have one idea though for the phaser, but I haven't made time to script/test it.
I'll test the script ideas before CP is finished with his ship.

To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before.

The woman's restroom?

Yes! That's where I was during a tornado alert almost 40 years ago. Very few thought it funny when I said that once we were in there (men and women). In fact many didn't even know where that phrase came from.

A good job as usual CP -- and company.

Sorry for the new post, Sickbay is done.

Here's some screens...

Hope you like 'em.

Now on to the hallways. Then I'll move on to the rest of the TOS ship.

I'm also including a special set of "movie style" versions of textures and models to build the newer starship interiors as seen in "First Contact" through "Nemesis" as well.

Top Notch Cosmic-quality mate!!!

By the way I can see some 'seams' on the walls showing the faces of the models and stuff. Can that be fixed?

Once you apply shaders, and proper lighting, It will improve the look dramaticly!

Right now, I'm just focusing on getting the few hundred models built for this project. I'll worry about Shaders later.

This is crazy cool.
It's a shame you can't profit off of these, because this is most definitely valuable.

Thank you for all of your hard work on this Cosmic.
I only have one week left of school, so I will start scripting for this pack a week from tomorrow.
I have been playing around with other things here and there, because I did not want to start your scripts unless I can devote my full attention to them.
I'll do my best to make the scripts worthy of these great models and segments.

Update: Hi guys, well here is the result of trying to mimic the large curved halls that make up the primary hull (Saucer section)of Trek style vessels.

It consists of only 4 models that are rotated into place, and allows you to easily build a simulation of these decks, including up to a total 0f "40 usable rooms!"
Each unit has the ability to provide a total of 10 rooms, with adjoining hallways. Just place them in your map and decorate them with prop details (pipes, furniture, Doors, etc.)

They have already been tested in-game, and work extreamly well.
The poly count of each unit is even less than some character models we already use in FPSC, so there is like, zero lag, and no collision issues.

You can easily add hallway sections, to build on these even further. as well as add the prefab rooms such as the "Transporter room" to your overall build. It uses a sigle texture, and is easily retextured to make any style "wall/hall" combination you like.

Hope you like it. More to come....

Thanks my friend, Yeah but there's a lot more to see before you can "logicly" make that claim. (Heh, Heh, just playing).

Just finished the "animated" TOS Enterprise with lit windows, flashing running lights, and animated warp nacells. Thanks again Bond1!

Heres the video....Enjoy!! (Sorry for the low quality vid).

I am behind schedule for helping with the scripts for this pack.
One of my dogs just had surgery, so I have not been to the office very much in the last few days.
I'll be getting on track soon though, so have patience with me too please.

I swear Cosmic, the more I look at these images of your ship, the better they look. (beautiful)
No need to go fishing, we're already hooked.

Nice work, Dale. You always have something new that leaves us waiting with anticipation.

Is it me, or do you need to replace the person that painted the serial number on the hull? It seems "out of place". Perhaps his rope would not allow him to reach the center (kidding).

Thanks to Bond1 as well.

Hi all! got the texture done on this contribution to the pack. Thanks Derek, I had to reduce the polys on the mesh but kept it close to the original you sent.

yeah sorry about that...I had tried a new method to get it to look as accurate as the original the show, and completely spaced out on the fact I had to watch the poly count.

On your remake did you make it where the player can step through the middle in case people wanted to use it as a teleporter like was done in the TOS episodes?

Starmind: No problem buddy, I've still got a lot more to put together for this. Hope you get feeling better soon my friend.

Conjured: Sorry to hear about your dog, I hate it when pets get ill. They really are like family. There's plenty of time left on this one.

Blackfox: You know, I have no idea. I've done so many huge packs, it's hard to say. Right now I'm focusing on the TOS stuff, which is the main part of the pack. The Next Generation stuff I just made as Bonus items for fans of TNG.

Plus I still need to get all the characters done.

If anyone else wants to pitch in with some more media, send it my way so I can get it added to the pack.

Will talk to you all soon my friends.

I'm going to have Dr. Jeremiah James (aka Dr. Who) meet Captain Kirk or whoever will be the captain. An adventure on the Star ship Enterprise! The captain will be an ally of course. My perspective anyway.

@Cosmic Prophet: Will there be a Klingon, a Romulun, and other enemies?

Of course, these could be other developer's allies and the captain and crew could be the enemy.

Hi buddy, Well, this is what I had planned;

3 male Starfleet officers (each in one of the 3 color tunics).
3 female : : : : : : : .

1 Klingon, 1 romulan, 1 Gorn characters ( Face textures can be changed to make more characters).

I may make the original cast, But I'm not sure, as that would restrict scenarios to the Enterprise only. I want this kit to provide the ability to create your own Starships with a generic crew.

An alien lifeform cloned an earthling as a result, in an attempt to create the perfect captain to infiltrate the Enterprise... (see attached image)

Don't we all Cathy hits the big 40 in a couple months

BTW, what is the time line on your project here? Only asking because if it is relatively soon, then Cathy will hook up with you on your next one. Her model skills are improving daily, and she made her first animated bouncing ball and was quite excited. I told her she should try to make some tribbles and send to you.

Tribbles would be great!! It will be a few weeks before this is done (It's really huge!). After this, I'd like to get another community pack started. "Modern Warfare" will be the theme.

Cp sent you an email for the com. I fixed a few things on it. Just replace it to all the folders for the coms. The fixes include thumb wringle fixed and antenna straighten. Working on the type 2 and type 3 phasers right now, but I wanted to get that fixed first.
