Great names DarkJames !
anyway this 2 guys above already have name...
ZangF Kid and the yellow guy is Versu2
But maybe I use your sugestions to others.

How you can see in the pictures above there is a logo VERSU2.
This is the name the one of the biggest hiphop band in Brazil.
They will lunch a new EP in the next weeks. They invited me to put a short level in the DVD.And at the same time I make a character to use like a mascot.

here you can watch the introduction in the game level and the DVD cover.

hi

Update:

There is a short demo , I did this for advertising and the demo is recorded in a Cd with some musics from VERSU2 a hiphop band in Brasil ( the Cd is a extended play from VERSU2 ).They adopted one of TOYARTWAR character like a mascot.
Here the link with the game demo. There is just one level and this is just a preview from the upcoming oficial demo with more levels.

TOYARTWAR - VERSU2 - short demo

Here there is templates examples for you customize the characters from paper. The UV templates and ToyPapers are the same. I'll choose some of customizations to use in the demos levels.I'll send the templates for who want to donate to help me to continue developing TOYARTWAR.

Here some previews from the first level inside demo.
Work in Progress.

The demo was fantastic, although a little too short.

The loading time was great and I got steady 60 FPS on my pc even when the action got rough! The only slowdown I remember was when I first shot the character! But after that steady 60 FPS!

Now to make me one of these characters!

The demo plays really well, the visuals are of course excellent, the frame rate was full all the time, the music fits... what's not to like? Very well executed. Oh, and the menus and opening video are excellent, even if I can't read them.

Toy Art War promises to be one of those rare and beautiful exceptions to the mundane FPS Creator titles.

Five out of Five!

^^ Agree with Brian. Took time out of our schedule to give this a spin. Since we have kids that range from 20 years of age down to 2, they would enjoy this. I played this (except the 2 year old- he giggled and laughed). My wife and I enjoyed it- my 2 year old instantly recognized the rubic cube and ran to find his in the toy box. The mallet was a nice addition- reminds me of the wack-a-mole.

You definitely have captured a unique style and we feel you will do very well with this. This is one game we would purchase (regardless of price) and play over and over. The mood is perfect, the music, graphics, etc all tie in together. It's great fun for not just the kids, but us adults as well.

We too rank this one Five out of Five!

Glad I could read some Portuguese. I have been meaning to post in here, but kept forgeting about it.

Great work on this. I played it for awhile this evening and I enjoyed it.

I did see some things you might look into.
1) The weapons had a couple of issues. The first weapon used seemed to only one animation for everything. To me, it was just could have more.... The mallet or hammer if you change the "gunspec" to a melee weapon it would make it more like what you are going for(a hammer).

2) Ammo was over and above what what needed for the level. Perhaps scale down the ammo for what it takes to get through the level and maybejust a tad bit more.

3) Enemies were great looking, but they were dumb. They had path finding problems. I think at one point I had one character in the wall shooting at me. ALso I think that only one of the characters had a death sound. Maybe add sound to the characters.

4) Get rid of the win zone trigger sound or add a "reward" sound for making it through the level.

Overall it was great and I hope that I didn't come off to harsh. If you need some help with some of the animations let me know and I could give some pointers, but I am still learning myself.

Translated for you?

I'll do a lot of scenarios inspired for many enviroments. But all made from TOYARTWAR point of view.Colorful and agressive fun...
This is the first level and represent a part of a factory were Toyarts are made.
There will no fight in this level, just puzzles...

Quote: "how to assign a sound to character when he die"
Yes.
First thing you will need to do is either make or use sounds that you want the character to have. These sounds need to be placed in your "audiobank\voices\your folder here". The sound for the death is called "finalmoan" in order for it to work.

In the character fpe there is a line called "soundset" type the name of the folder name here and the character will be set in the fpe to use the sound files in that folder.

I hope this helps. I also hope maybe this might help out. I made this character that with the right tweaking might fit into your game. Just a thought. Here the forum post.

I played your demo and it was realy fun, But I think there isn't a reloading animation for your gun.. is this intentional or is it a bug, like the animation frames not playing, or something. Anyway its an over all good game9From what I could tell) and its nice to see a non ww2 game or something zombie related. I wish you a of luck for compleating the game.

hi

I have a question , maybe one friend can answer:
Is there a way to have in screen, at same time, a icon from each gun you have to use?
each gun with own counter?...

I saw the thread.I dont know if I understood ...Ciborg Art gave a easy solution I think.Just make the hud icon bigger with the slots, so I'll have a illusion... In my case I'll have a picture with all guns and when I select one of them it will have a stroke outside.I make the same image for all guns but in each specific gun it ll have a stroke... can tou understand my poor english? if yes, is this correct?

Toyartwar it's a artwork very original and creative made with FPSC to the children public, I think. I hope you may finish it fully and successfully someday.

Congratulations and good luck.

Im loving the aspect of this game, Great funky colours that work well, and great floor meshes,

A few pointer from my opinion,
1. is instead of using white light in an area where their is a lot of one colour, i would us a light that matches the colour that is most in the room, Try it and the effect is amazing, also not to have to bright. causes like a bloom reflection, just like in your yellow lights well thats what i call it,, i bet some one will give proper term!

2. what about some nice colourfull smoke or steam entities sort of balsting through the floor plate or have tucked inside the stantions, adds nice candy eye atraction.

I'am not GOD but i can make you see again by taking my fingers out of your eyes and i can make you walk again by taking your beer away, but if you take my beer you will not walk again

thank you to apreciate my work. The tips will be good for me, I'm studing and test a lot and learn a lot of things in the way.I like the steams of course but this destroy my perfomance...so I'll be careful with this.

Thank you my friend !Yes is very simple ... I'm trying to have a good fps in all levels. And keep the atention to characters.I had a way to construct that looks some diference from the others in the forum.I'm developing the levels with the characters inside since I put the first entity in the level...The characters AI are fps consuming and I try to keep all things in a playable way.

New characters. One of them should be in this upcoming free levels.Enjoy.

This is a new character. Can someone confirm the alphas not work for a character, in a test and build game, with shading off?

Whats wrong with your character? The hair looks like the alphas worked just fine. Are you talking about the body?

Just work when I have Full shader effects ...Is this correct?

Try changing the shader to something like "bumpcubereflectalpha" and in the fpe, change transparency to 2. It should work just fine.
