also, when i tried to load one of my levels it always says mesh number illegal at line blahblahblah.

I'm really beginning to think that this update was just a major setback, because its causing all kinds of problems.

This is [mod edit]. So when do the gamecreators give us some useful updates?

Sounds like you don't realize what it took them to make this program in the first place. They made no sole commitment to keep updating this program, they did not have to make it in the first place. Just keep that in mind.

Do me a favor, 1337-wannabe, just stay off the boards if you're gonna talk like that. Or at the very least be constructive with your criticism.

Ok Mr.Siddall, So what were "your findings" on the patch? And lets keep in mind that we all need to help each other if were going to make FPSC shine. This is the moment where we find out what we can and report it back to tgc so that Lee and Co will continue working on it.

Man where do I start.

1. Build Game is a hassle, if I dont mess around with every setting then click "Build Game" it crashes and I lose my work.

2. I can't for some reason load textures because every time I do, when I start the game it just loads up the defaults. This has happend since I got my new pc for some reason.

3. If I made a trgger zone to spawn an object sideways, it will spawn stood up at default possition.

4. Im sick of the AI, its not a challenge.

5. In the entity library, there is a bug where the pictures get mixed up with other objects. I have to restard fpsc and even that dosnt work sometimes.

6. Every now and again once I have tested a level and go back into my map, I try adding another light and the "Area" of the light disappears. I have to load up fpsc again.

I will name more later. I made a thread once in the wrong topic, think it got deleted.

The entity library icons do get messed up, Yes this is some kind of strange bug which I hope gets addressed. However tinkering with the AI's is a matter of scripting and source code($89.99) But why are you even bringing any of this up? Even I knew along with a few insiders that a complain patch was going to be out and it was going to be a disaster.

I am waiting for proof.
If you are angry because the patch did not work that is understandable.
Surely the "friends" which gave you this "information" will jump right up and verify it.
I think you are full of something and it is not coding knowledge.
Put your money where your mouth is and back up your statement.
It's amazing how nobody but you "knew" this.

Jordan Siddall: Not all of these problem you've mentioned happen all the time, and most DO NOT relate to the engine, other than the spawning bug, which I myself have never had. The AI can be helped by turning off the physics in the character's properties, and getting better AI scripts. That's not hard coded.

Yea man that is the worst. Oh, another thing, this isn't a bug, just really really annoying. The first model pack's segements don't have walking noises. It's probably fixable but its just that much of inconvenience that I dont use them. I havn't bought any of the other models packs because of these small inconveniences. And the fact that fpsc is so full of bugs that I don't use it anymore.

When I read the bug fix news, I got a semi lobon. But this has just been a major disappointment to me. Its more of an add-on than a bug fix update.

I know I shouldn't be complaining but I'm just really upseat. Keep up the work anyways gamecreators.
