hardcore users:
- you will be able to make Vista games before anyone else
- you will be one of the first to produce DX10 content
- there are features on a DX10 card than are totally exclusive
- be an innovator in a brand new territory - so many opportunities
- whatever you make will look better and run faster (by default)
casual users:
- by the time you upgrade to Vista, X10 will be well tested
- you will enter a community that has established advice for you
- most new machines will ship with Vista next year (+cheaper dx10)

Lee,
I think this is a huge deal for you and for us, but I have a few questions to ask.
1) Will we be able to use Multitexuted objects as static entities? (For those who are screaming at their monitors saying "you can do this with FPSC already!")You can add them as dynamic but not static.
2) Will there be a better system to remove unused content from the final build?
3) Will the game loading feature be improved to make it faster?
4) Will you be able to rotate the lights? (if there is a way to do it now let me know as I have failed trying)
5) Will the collision detection system be fixed?
6) Are you implementing more than one global timer? It would be nice to have more than one flickering light in a level.
These are just a fewof the many questions I have. also for those of us who do not own Darkbasic pro is there going to be a feature that will allow us to edit the source in an alternate studio?
I know that last on is a far stretch but it's worth a shot.
