you probably think that due to the blurry look on the side of the gun, this has nothing to do with the texture, however the level of anisotropic filtering that is set on your graphics card, by default, you are most likely witnessing bilinear filtering

i never really had a myspace and dont intend to start one soon, i did create one a long time ago but didnt edit it at all, may i ask where you heard this from?

as i mentioned earlier to rolfy, try optimizing it by turning off shaders, reducing the texture size etc.
