dude, the characters and your supposedly upcoming p99 (now, who would bring out a p99 onto a battlefield) sound good.
But the segments...Idk.

They look more like a pimpalicious castle to me. I, will not have any use for these personally.

I will still probably buy.

Here is another room. Fancy_Room_4 And for all the people who like to challenge us about steeling meshes, and textures, Your all wrong we use adobe photoshop 3 with all the plugins like alien sky, and other custom things like that. Also we use tgc texture maker enterprise edition. So though i'd clear that up. So no worries this is 100% all our work. Enjoy the next room everybody. Fancy_Room_4

Also AaronG thanks for your intrest into our pack, And also I like the pimpolous thing lol, anyways to make it clear the Custom A4's P99 is almost done with hands and the pack will not go up in price it still will be $4.95 I just wanted to throw in the P99 as a bonus. Enjoy everybody

Bit blocky. You should try and bevel the grip a bit more. As you said, the texture needs work.

yeah... Cos your selling this I would scrap the hand completely and re-do the whole hand, plus you will actually need to model alot more than just the forearm; as when re-loading and stuff it will look stupid without the whole arm on screen, but it depends on your animation style.

The Duva, and Appy model where done by Jon Fletcher. The A4's P99 is being model by vorconan from the forums. And all other modeling is being done by us. Hope this helps you out AaronG.

now my opinion:

i wouldn't sell such models/textures/etc because it looks just too generic or generated

for a free pack it's ok but to sell something like that...

so i don't like it, maybe others do and maybe they will buy the pack

Good luck.

P.S. i think the font in the launcher should be white... not black because the background is really dark

To be honest, this pack is so very random. I would possibly rethink the pack, and restart by following a main theme. Thats what i would so personally, and i doubt you'd want to start again. Since you bought the mesh off Jon etc, I would create a modern pack. I would do "gangster" themed items, such as Civil weapons, eg Glock, P99 etc.. I would also do stuff like Urban Buildings, street stuff, but unfortunately, its all been done for free.

Yeah I agree with simtho. And that animation is really dodgy, You just need to rotate it along one axis, but in your anim it goes back too.

I mean honestly who needs an aligator room, and a leapardskin room and such. I just won't fit in with any other media. I think you should follow smithos advice, maybe for a future pack. But I really can't see anyone using those segments to be honest.

Saying that though you should get quite alot of sales just for the charachters.

Good luck with this anyway, just the chars are worth $5

I have to agree with them.
The pack is just to random.

I mean there is a stripclub, "alligator room", scifi room, and now you want to make some medieval pain instruments.

Hmmmm.

It would be a lot better if you had a theme.

Anyway good luck with this.

Yeah I agree, and I personally think it would be better if you had kept the chars a bit more general. I mean honestly who would want you and your girlfriend in their own game. This is not an attack just passing a point to maybe market it better next time

Just because you have max, it doesn't mean anything. THat pedulum would be better made in Milkshape. Theres nothing on that model you couldn't have done in MS.

Basically dude, the models in this pack are basic. Mainly deformed cubes. THe characters are you, and the walls are totally random. tHere's no theme to it, so people are like, oh I'd buy it for the dresser, or the...uh....ok well, they might like 1 item, but as there is no consistency to the style of the models or the content, I can't see why anyone would buy.

well, if he's charging only $5 for the whole thing, considering it comes with 2 characters, we could always just retexture the character's to fit our needs.

Thats what I was trying to tell him, but I was trying to get it across more gently, because I know he has put his time into the pack.

But yeah I can't actually see this selling...sorry

You should make the well a segment instead and then make a cilinderal CSG punch so that when you place it, it punches through the floor.
