Yeah some of you have probably written in my thread \"My first model ever(not done) need C&C\" were I posted all my models, and well now I have made an entirely new thread and here I am going to showcase every new piece of crap I have been producing

I am still very much a noob in modelling these models I am posting here are only the first ten or so I have ever made but I think theye look good.

So yeah I made this new thread when Penfold posted this
Quote: "Dude, I may be the exception. <edited> might even be worth creating a website or something <edit>

But.. I think its time you made a new thread , called it Alucard Showcase or something.

I look back and check what you\'ve made but I don\'t feel like saying well done after each one. I expect (but I can\'t be certain) that a lot of other forum browsers are doing the same.

You have some really nice models. No doubting that. But I think its a bit too much to be expecting feedback on every single model (especially as you seem to be producing about one a day).

Optionally as you seem to be quite good at it why don\'t you create a weapons model pack (and maybe ask for donations?). Then we can give you feedback on several models at a time. I\'m sure a lot of people creating games would have no objection to some nice models.

Anyway enough of me spouting on.

Please note this is my personal opinion and may not portray other members and or the forums view on the subject."

So here I am going to showcase all my newly done models and eventually put them in a modelpack.

If you want to see some of my very first models check in my other thread.

So here are two of my newly done ones:

Colt M4A1: Needs texture
Handgun Sig-saur:

Helicopter Low-poly:

Poly counts: Colt=1700 polys
Sig Saur Hadgun: around 1000 polys
Helicopter Low-poly: 540 polys

I model I clean and I cook for you... AND I STILL DONT GET A COOKIE!!?!!?!?!!?!??

Well I just learned(from the brilliant tutorials Avenging Eagle made) how to UV map properly so yeah I will model and texture these models for the pack, although the texturing and uvmapping comes last, but I wont animate them because I don't know how to.

Im going on a field trip with my school for 1 day, gonna be back tomorrow so I cant be working on any models untill tomorrow

Suggested by masterchief I present to you, the remake of my original Spas 12 shotgun!
This has been pretty darn time taking to make this thing, and it is my most high poly with around 2500 polys (more exact number on the picture)

I demand you to C&C!!

Renders:

Flat/wireframe(this is the one with the polycount on it ):

Just to post some info on the modelpack I will be releasing with these weapons in it.

There will be 15-20 weapons in this pack all modelled and I will try my best at getting them all textured, although at the moment I do not think that theye will be animated, unless I can find someone to do this for me.

The pack will be free, or maybe cost $2-5 I'm not sure yet, still $2-5 is not that much money, and I will be spending alot of time into this.

And I would apprecieate if you would drop some comments on the weapons and maybe ideas for new ones I can do, makes me get better

I think maybe you should try more *non weapon* objects. Stuff that would compliment your other models.

Try to stay from organics for a while if you don't feel confident enough yet.

Texturing is a *real pain in the posterior* especially if your new to it. I've only textured about 3 things so far and they've all been overly technical. I'm gonna go back to basics and do an ammo pack or medpack (something boxish) then try a few bigger models that use mainly primitive shapes. then who knows..

Chances are your in the same boat as me. so I'd go basic. Make some ammo crates or barrels or summat to texture.

and for modelling again, hmm a couple of vehicles?

So I was bored and made a new modell, no gun this time but more of a err... robot? I call him Mr. Thorn and he's my new best friend

This is just a completly unserious modell just made for a laugh so I dont think I will include it in the pack, but if people like it I might actually put it in.

iF i you I'd attempt another robot or a vehicle. your strength seems to come from , I'll use the term loosely *copying* real objects or things you have reference for.

Try something like R2D2 from star wars (easy to texture his barrel stomach too) so you can get plenty of reference material.

I expect you to be good at something like that.

So you wanted me to make something without any real life reference so yeah I did... I made up a weapon, it's kinda like a sniper but with much better recoil and still does alot of damage, so I present to you the A-11 Marine! Straight out of my mind!
I know it does not look like a made up weapon but hey, I tried my best.

Can you tell me what I need to optimize then?
Honestly from my point of view the latest gun I made is ugly, really, I kinda hate it it's not one of my better models 'cause the handle and triggerguard looks completly ugly and pretty much everything of it is horrable. I think my strenght is to modell from real life references

Ya, it's awfully high-poly. There are a lot of polies on the body of the gun that are unnecessary.

Seems you're getting along just fine.

Definitely work on optimizing, though.

Yeah texturing, about that, I completly suck(SUUUUUUUCK!) at texturing. I can UVMAP just fine but when it comes to painting the texture on I just can't do it.
When I realese this pack these weapons will be textured, maybe I will do it or maybe someone else, I'm trying to learn to texture but it's just... HAARD!! even though I use photoshop
