Yay! I'll finally be able to enable normal mapping and specular lighting in Fallout 3 without running the system into a pagefile!

What the hell, that isn't working as an image but it's in image tags!

Alright, the concept for my one day game.

Although I also need to go out and get some days off from work, and I should really work on my backgammon board.... Hmm....

I find it quite interesting that everybody here does 'some' programming. I wonder...is anybody else having the problem I am? The problem is that I can't concentrate long enough to focus on learning or studying code and whatnot, and I can't seem to find any more lessons or tutorials, other than what's on the TGC site or the sparse videos on YouTube. I'm still using DBC, and I've noticed that there are a LOT more resources for DBPro. I want to go with Pro someday anyway, so maybe the time is now. In the meantime...

...what's love got to do with it?

In related news, I've picked up DBPro and made a small game. Tis a 3d sequal to Zeus' Blox game.

And I've been wondering...Does Grandma code? Or 3d model?...Does he do anything other than hang around the boards and be hilarious?

Well thank you....I guess. Yes, Jack of all trades. I code quite a lot. I have a project I've been working on since 2005. Grown over 45.000 lines with pure awesomeness and soda. I keep mostly quiet about it for top-secret reasons. I've done 3d modeling/animation in the past but I'm rusty now.

Where the 3d modeling gap was, is replaced by the awesome hobby that is music-making.

just incase anyone cares, my project is really lame to play (I wrote the entire thing, but its just not fun tantalising the poor snake )
Ill have to change it up a bit, because Im loving the ground work.

Dude, everyone who frequents the posting comp should all help make a posting comp game. Who would see it coming?! If a real constructive game emerged from this crap hole

But from what little I've seen you post, you certainly seem fairly skilled.

That's the posting comp way.

The mad cat was not designed for game use....so roughly 35 thousand.

Quote: "Consider first a classical computer that operates on a three-bit register. The state of the computer at any time is a probability distribution over the 23 = 8 different three-bit strings 000, 001, ..., 111. If it is a deterministic computer, then it is in exactly one of these states with probability 1. However, if it is a probabilistic computer, then there is a possibility of it being in any one of a number of different states. We can describe this probabilistic state by eight nonnegative numbers a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h (where a = probability computer is in state 000, b = probability computer is in state 001, etc.). There is a restriction that these probabilities sum to 1.
The state of a three-qubit quantum computer is similarly described by an eight-dimensional vector (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h), called a wavefunction. However, instead of adding to one, the sum of the squares of the coefficient magnitudes, | a | 2 + | b | 2 + ... + | h | 2, must equal one. Moreover, the coefficients are complex numbers. Since states are represented by complex wavefunctions, two states being added together will undergo interference. This is a key difference between quantum computing and probabilistic classical computing.[6]
If you measure the three qubits, then you will observe a three-bit string. The probability of measuring a string will equal the squared magnitude of that string's coefficients (using our example, probability that we read state as 000 = | a | 2, probability that we read state as 001 = | b | 2, etc..). Thus a measurement of the quantum state with coefficients (a,b,...,h) gives the classical probability distribution ( | a | 2, | b | 2,..., | h | 2). We say that the quantum state "collapses" to a classical state.
Note that an eight-dimensional vector can be specified in many different ways, depending on what basis you choose for the space. The basis of three-bit strings 000, 001, ..., 111 is known as the computational basis, and is often convenient, but other bases of unit-length, orthogonal vectors can also be used. Ket notation is often used to make explicit the choice of basis. For example, the state (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h) in the computational basis can be written as , where, e.g., = (0,0,1,0,0,0,0,0). The computational basis for a single qubit (two dimensions) is = (1,0), = (0,1), but another common basis is the Hadamard basis of and .
Note that although recording a classical state of n bits, a 2n-dimensional probability distribution, requires an exponential number of real numbers, practically we can always think of the system as being exactly one of the n-bit strings—we just don't know which one. Quantum mechanically, this is not the case, and all 2n complex coefficients need to be kept track of to see how the quantum system evolves. For example, a 300-qubit quantum computer has a state described by 2300 (approximately 1090) complex numbers, more than the number of atoms in the observable universe."

Nice fancy render techniques thier grandma, Is that Vray, or just good ol mental ray?

I did a little prgramming a while back, about 5 years now,

Teh codez are lost in a infinite number of folies and mistaken dreams.

I thought an annual sig change is in order. I did update my avatar, so its a traditional thing...

The main competitors are:

My Life is a Bitter sweet after shock of adrenaline and fear...
And I Love It...

OR

"the wind bothers me, its sudden acrid coldness. The world around me darkens and the moon seems distant, unforthcoming, hostile"

Am siding with the latter of the two for now.

I have these floating round in my head from poetes throeists and books alike

Ill give you a cookie if you know who this is,

I find that nothing's ever exactly like you expect. There's always something to surprise you. Between the idea and the reality, between the motion and the act...
Falls the shadow.

Darker side to my writing, -From, " Sins of the broken "
Really, it still stands in context, he is under interogation at the time, Ughh he was a character i didnt want to really write about, my own creation gets under my skin...

Passage,

I remember that at the time I wanted a skateboard, like all the other kids, my parents said no, we were too poor. So that night I went to the shed and got a hammer and a piece of wood...
and beat them both to death.

My foster parents bought me 5 skateboards... #'smirks'#

Thats all i can be bothered digging from my archives for now,

Oh and a few i just thought of,

Give a man hope, he will die,
Give a man reason, he will kill,
Give a man peace, he will live.
