@Grandma: It was my rational side, he gets out every now and again, so I beat him with a can opener and lock him back in his cage.

@lazerus: Ah, ok. That helps me understand much better. As for carpentry, its not that I lack the tools, but rather the skills. I have a few sets of tools available to me, but I don;t have any feasible skill in any artistic craft which uses only the hands. (IE, drawing, sculpting, carving, painting, etc...)
lol, wut? 1000 contacts? That is crazy. I only have, like, 7 on mine.
Also, who taught you your swordsmanship skills? Or are you self-taught? Me and a few of my friends like to swordfight with sticks, branches, broom handles, what have you. I'm easily the best out of my group, although I doubt I'd stand any kind of chance against anyone who's any kind of actual training.

@Everyone else:
"That's true, but the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the British." - Yugi Motoh.

"VEGETA! What does the scouter say about his MCDONALD's?!?!" - Nappa

"What in the name of all that is camp is going on here?" - Maxamillion Pegasus.

(No offense to any of you who may be from Britain, its just a funny line from Yugioh: The abridged series.)

I have a devious mind.

I think we should respect the environment and animals and that means eating them too.
Being totally serious here... damn it's impossible not to sound sarcastic!
Vegetarianism is unnatural for humans, it's incredibly difficult to get enough protein to support the large brains we have; that's why a lot of veggies still eat fish.

Humans are (to my knowledge) the only creatures that can eat meat but sometimes choose not to, other than the panda. Do you know what's happening to the panda? They're dying out.

Guys listen, I have greatest idea! Why don't we create a topic called "The posting competition" here are the rules and crap,

Points
10th post - 10 points
50th post - 20 points
100th post - 30 points
250th post - 50 points
500th post - 100 points
1000th post - 500 points

Rules
* You have to wait until someone else posts, before making another post.

* You can't post anything that would go against the AUP, or otherwise have this thread locked.

* Going against any of these rules causes your points to be "cut in half". Ex, if you have 10 points, that would be changed to 5. If you have 2000 points, that would be changed to 1000. In the event that you have a number that can't evenly be chopped in half, for example, 5, it would go to the low-end closest number, for example, 5 would become 2.

Places
A place is determined FIRST by point count, then by post count. So, say you have 20 points, and another person has 20 points. Technically you would be tied, however, if the other person has more posts than you, he would be one place ahead of you, and vice-versa.

Remarks
Okay, say you get the 500th post award. Just because you get that award doesn't mean that you also get a 250th post award. Just to clear that up. Same as 1000th post award, you don't get a 10th, 100th, 250th, 500th, etc, award as well.

Example
Person A got the 10th post. (Person A now has 10 points)
Person B got the 50th post. (Person B now has 20 points)
Person A got the 60th post. (Person A now has 20 points)
Person C got the 100th post. (Person C now has 30 points)

And that's basically how it goes, and what I meant by "increments". Post whatever you like, as long as it is appropriate, and won't get this thread locked... Whoever gets this thread locked will be, um... Catapulted into the sun! (j/k)

sound good?

We should totally make this original idea!

So I found out what was wrong with my laptop. Did you know that you can't disable virtual memory in Vista? Although I did it on my XP computer and later when I upgraded it to 7. My laptop came preinstalled with a lot of Dell crap (and a rather nice LoJack thingy in the BIOS) and had a 4GB pagefile on top of 4GB RAM. Since I couldn't delete the pagefile.sys, I just set it to the minimum of 16MB and now Defraggler runs much more smoothly, and my RAM meter says it is now using about 37% at idle instead of 49% with a pagefile.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.
