What is your opinion on this laptop? I'm thinking about buying it for school and using it for light graphics work (Photoshop, Blender... etc.) but nothing too heavy, or requiring a full blown PC (Painter X, After Effects... etc.). I have half of the money now, and when I get paid in 2 weeks, I'll be able to easily pay for all of it. I'm wondering, though. Is it a good investment? If not, what laptop should I buy for about the same price range?

Wrong. There are no "previous" points. Any and all points are "present" because they are presently held by their current respective posters.
The only way there could be "previous" points, is if a poster got points, then left, or got banned from, the forums.
Just in case, I hereby lay claim to all previous, unclaimed, or abandoned points.
You said you WOULD claim any previous points IF this thread got locked. That didn't happen, so I can claim them for myself.
And don't try and claim any present or future points now. You can't do that because they are still claimed by their present owners. I can only claim all present and future points IF the thread gets locked.
