And does it ever need to use the peepad? (Being that aparently it doesn't drink yet.)

Thanks, since I have been slapped, I will not edit the first post, because it will not appear until it is approved. But I am working on feeding the dog and still testing the hunger.

It's not particularly inspiring, in light of the fact that you should probably have corrected that first. All the same, it does look better for obvious reasons.

You'll want to adjust your bar at the bottom though, it's too short now.

It doesn't really look right like that. Besides, by your logic, it's too long already. Why not split into chunks or put it in the corners, it looks kind of intrusive as a big dark block at the bottom.

It's good to see you're finally making something worth while And it does look good. A few tips: Don't worry about how things look to start with. Just make sure it works correctly, then work on the appearance.

I remember my Dog AI program - Rocky The Dog AI. I personally wasnt too impressed, but it got into the newsletter. Just shows that AI isn't a very worked on area in TGC (especially since Dark AI is out now), so keep it up. This will teach you some important lessons for AI that you will need in the future.

Keep it up CGJ, we're all rooting for ya out there, I'd have a wip up faster but with 2 jobs and gh its a little difficult .

Criticism/Suggestions

While I think the background is doing just fine for now in the early stages, I would suggest maybe making or looking up some 2d artists here to fine tune your grass. I would gladly assist in this area but I only have paint however my rommate whom has a degree in graphic design likes to make sprites so if you need anything we can give you a hand, just drop me a line *he has nothing to do during the day since our jobs are at night, I work the market during the day*.

Some instructions would be cool..never hurts to let the player know what they're doing and all that jazz. As well I don't know if you have music in place but I see kinda of a jumpy jazzy tune to this game, I'd be happy to write some for you on the keyboard/uke if you want, I've been getting back into music as it is with the inclusion of our new music board.

Other than that, keep up the work CGJ and we'll be watching...we're always watching

Cartoony grass can be done , I'll tell him tonight and I'm sure he'll have it done by the time I come home from work tomorrow and no prob. We're just happy to see you making progress, you've come a long way jordan.

More Suggestions

Perhaps rethink the color of your room, just a thought, clashes if you ask me. One thing I love about simulations is the amount of little detailed objects, now I know its a wip but you wanted suggestions.

Hey good start, is the enter button for cancelling the dog's current action? If not reuse buttons better, for example clicking the bed to sleep then pressing enter to wake up is using too many buttons for one action, it would need a cancel action button or clicking the floor or bed again or something to wake him up, if not even just clicking the dog to wake him. Anyway, it looks good so far I hope this goes well for you

Im not gonna say that you didnt deserve any of the flaming you got, but I will also always give credit where credit is due! Usually people who get flamed as badly as u did run with their tails between their legs (no joke intended based on ur project title :p), but u turned around and actually produced something, and that is im sure impressive to everyone that flamed you. Congratulations! Good luck in the future man!
