Not sure why 117.5 isn't working.
You might try v118 because I tested it and it works with it.
I forget which beta I tested it with though, so I will try v118 beta 10 now.

I'll be back.

Edit
It seems to be working fine with v118 beta 10.
So without knowing what is wrong with v117 beta 5, my only suggestion is to get another updated version other than that one.

Hello Conjured Entertainment, congratulations for the excellent script

You expose 2 problems: (The first I solved, while the second no)

1)To start from zero cash (ok), when I take an object with script (pickupcash1k) or (pickupcash10k), ......
I do not grant the credit remains at zero.
Going to buy a weapon, sell, and takes away money from credit to zero, which by the command (: state = 0: settargetname = cs1) and (activatetarget = 13) me back the credit remaining from the money that I found.
Then I added all scripts (pickupcash1k) .... the line:

:state=0:settargetname=cs1
and the action (,activatetarget=13)

In this way, just take the object, I get the credit.
What do you say? Maybe it is a change to the 1.18

2)Having lots of cash, and trying to buy a weapon from 1000 cash, not allowing me to buy it. See image:

What can you tell me about?

Thanks again for free scripts

Thanks for the cash system, realy usefull. My question is,, is it possible to carry the cash earned from one level to the next. Currently you always start the next level at $0.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, but like I said before, it tested fine on my end.

In theory yes, but in reality no.
The value of globals variables is carried over from one level to the next, so in theory yes.
However, I change the globals value while reading it for the display.
So, if the scripts are running when the level ends then it carries over an invalid value for the cash total.

There are new ways to display variables now with the recent updates and improvements to FPSC.
I plan on revising this system ot utilize the recent changes, which should take care of the current problems.
This system was developed when v1.09 first came out, so it was not a perfect solution but attempted to do the best with what we had to work with at the time.
I will not have a lot of time to work on this for the next couple months, because I want to finish up some projects that have a higher priority.
I am glad you like playing with this system, and I hope you like the next cash system better.
Thanks for the feedback.

EDIT
I played around with displaying user variables in v118 today, and found it extremely easy.
My 6 pages of script was reduced to about 6 lines of code.
Needless to say, I will be releasing the new cash system very soon, so keep an eye out here.
Shortly after that I will work on the FPSC Video Poker Minigame.

BUMP

I just finished the new cash system, which will be a lot easier for people to use, and it should be bug free. (somebody test it)

I just uploaded it to the first post of the this thread, and I moved the original post down one post where the video was.
This way, people who are using the older versions of FPSC will still have access to the old cash system.

I created all of the scripts for the stock weapons this time, so all you have to do is change the weapon's Main AI to the included pickup script.
You will find instructions in the first post and the included Read Me file.

For personal and commercial use.

Have Fun!

@Conjured Entertainment :

Ok tried, and is really well done, much lighter than before, thanks to variables with "y"

Thanks for the hud's basic weapons and any scripts to buy them.

Multilevel cash system = Keeps the money of the previous level
Buy a weapon from 1000 cash with figures accumulated in various times = exemple:I collect 1000cash from multiple pieces, 10.100 .1. (which in the previous version you could not do)

Bug (1):
Finished the game with multiple layers, you return to the main menu, up to here everything well.
Always remaining in the game's main menu, press "new game" again.
You may notice that the previous bet money, remain displayed and you can also use.
Which, if you exit the main menu (the game), and then reopen it doesn't happen, it resets all.

Vote: 10/10

Thanks again, Tax

That is not really a bug as much as it is a matter of the global variables not being reset at the end of a game, which is internal to FPSC and not anything in the script.
I could probably script a fix for it though, so I will look into it when I get some free time.

Thanks
