Today we have released Model Pack 22.



Model Pack 22 - Freaks, Abominations, and Gore. It's time to bring some of the scariest characters around into your levels:

* 11 new, "next-gen" quality characters for FPS Creator X9
* Characters contain all new animations, sound effects, and scripts for unique gameplay
* Chainsaw wielding boss character allows you to perform an unbelievable "finishing move"!
* High resolution texture maps, normal maps, and specular maps
* Fantastic new character shaders give cinematic lighting effects for shader model 3.0 video cards
* Create your own unique character shaders with included template using Dark Shader
* 27 gorey entities for your mature-themed games
* Blood splatters, rotting corpses, body parts, and other gore

EDIT: It may be awhile before I get around to purchasing, meanwhile, could someone post a screenshot of all the characters? I'm especially interested in the one that looks like it's eating a corpse.

Only four characters? Well, that's a little bit of a let-down after reading 11, but I'm still gonna buy, because they still look awesome I'm glad there are texture variations though, since the store came up I haven't seen a lot of that so you tend to have a lot of characters in the game who look exactly the same. Just a few texture variations can make the same type of enemy look like different individuals.

Don't let that sway you. These are truly "next-gen" quality characters complete with sound effects, and the texture variations usually coincide with script variations too. Pretty much nothing is stock here.

Plus, I'm releasing a brand spanking new shader template with Dark Shader support to create your own. I've even included a 15 minute video with this pack demonstrating how to make your own, which you can download here to see what is possible: http://www.hyrumark.com/DarkShaderDemo.zip.

With the ability to make your own shaders, the sky is the limit, not only for these characters but for your own as well. I'm really proud of this.

Maybe just put a warning page called 'pack22_a.html' that says "over 18's only. click here to continue" and then have the main page at 'pack22_b.html' or something like that?

I have used Bond's other characters in X 10 with no issues, I will test the new pack out as soon as I get it and post the results. Good Job BOND1. Your creations are killer.

I have ordered The pack and works fine in X10!!! Very happy with the results.

However I had to add the darkai.fpi script to allow them to move around the level correctly. I have tested all the characters from the pack and all work fine with the darkai.fpi script in the characters properties.

Again very good work Bond1. Love this pack.

Yeah, it's all me. I was hoarse for an entire day of coughing into a microphone - all because I love FPSC.

Did anyone check out the Dark Shader video I made yet, that is also included with the pack? You guys better watch that thing, because it's cool as heck, and I put a lot of time into the shader aspect of the pack.

Yes, I checked out your shader tutorial, excellent work and explained a few things I had problems with. Thanks...

Oh, and in the video when the dog wimpers... no harm did come to the voice acter right? and the bark made me laugh. I pictured you holding a treat.. speak.

No very simple.

Load the character you would like in the game.

Than right click on it.

Go to "main" under "scripts"

change the main to darkai.fpi in the people folder.

All set...

No, my dog totally freaks out every single day when the neighbors walk their dog past out house. I just had to have the recorder ready, and wait for it...

I really want this pack, it's really awesome, Bond. Very inspiring and twisted work.
Heck, I would've wanted it almost as badly if it was just the shader. I'm a bit stuck when it comes to my shader-mod... Might buy this some day, I'll be getting a real Visa in a few weeks so then I'm free to shop...

Hmmm, I watched the vid, everything looks ace, but here are some tips;

The blood splatter when Lobotomy spews at you is very unrealistic.

Lobotomy sounds a little like he's sneezing.

The sounds are pretty good though, I like them.
