Here's a new picture on behalf of COZ. He's currently very busy working on it, so I'm posting on behalf of him.

The mod has undergone a lot of major changes, and it's now completely bug free. Pretty spiffy, if I do say so myself.

Another Sci-Fi shot for you all. I have increased the number of bloom passes to 8 to increse the overall looks. It has no effect on FPS for me

Comments Welcome

He said "Sure no problem", and then we got talking about a specialised build for me that I could use in FPSC alongside my shaders. And voila!, Now all effects are loaded automaticly without a keyboard shortcut, and all performance issuses have been ironed out, so the FPS stays silky smooth, even in the fianl built game."

i like the sound of that and can't wait for its release!
good job COZ! this will be the best thing since sliced zombie bread!

...well can be that i really need to look from a differrent view on this but 80% of the shader doesn`t have such a good quality i think.

1. a lot of them doesn`t work for me
2. i don`t like the bloom
3. don`t see any shader on segments...

sry

@Dark Goblin:

You're sure this isn't because you're developing a mod that does similar stuff? You're sure you aren't just trying to put him down? I don't see anything to complain about here...he's doing the community a favor. He doesn't have a team developing for him, he's doing this single-handedly. EFX isn't the only shader mod out there, remember that.

I didn't mean to be rude, and I understand that you don't like the shaders...you're entitled to an opinion. It was just my first impression that you were trying to downsize your competition, because you seem to be putting him off a lot. I'm not trying to start a fight...if you want to talk, you can talk to COZ.

I never got the segment shader to work either. Not with dynamic lights, nor with static.
Technically, your relief shader is a normal-map shader, as it is impossible to get true relief to work without source changes. But the bloom looks cool, a little discrete and not too strong, which is good.
