Ultimately, that is correct (thanks for being a voice of reason
). There will be/are those that will follow the development, as well as those who are turned off at one point or another...either by the license agreement (hopefully a legally binding one) and/or the attitude of the developers when issues arise. Who knows; it may work out for all those involved in the end.
But, as you said, people are free to post their comments all they want on this
public forum...as long as they remain within the AUP (myself included).
