I don't know how old you are, TKF15H, but if you are under 20, it would seem normal, not to know J.R.

(There are 14,156 views at the DarkBASIC story, Randi, so if you want to win, you will have to work a little more )

Been busy all day long and haven't been online.

Let's see... first question...

Do you live near Dallas, Randi?
Yes... I live in Fort Worth, which if you lived around here you would know that Dallas and Fort Worth are the "metroplex" called DFW.
Dallas and Fort Worth are about 30 miles apart.

Who shot JR?
I don't remember but it was a woman.
And no not me, so no one make that stupid joke.

Yes let's cast our minds back to the grassy knoll
You do know the grassy knoll has to do with JFK and not JR..right?

There are 14,156 views at the DarkBASIC story
Ahh.. forget it then. I don't care that much.

Most people think it was Sue Ellen. But they never showed it, you could only see the gun.

But they never showed it, you could only see the gun.
That's not true... they told... let's look it up...

http://eightiesclub.tripod.com/id223.htm
Quote: "
It's believed that more than half the population of Great Britain tuned in to the episode in which J.R. was gunned down.) Finally, the new season began in November. The first three episodes further tormented the faithful with false leads, and then the truth was revealed in the fourth episode on November 21. This show earned the biggest audience share in television history -- a record 53.3 rating.

You still can't remember who shot J.R.? At the 1980 Republican convention, "A DEMOCRAT SHOT J.R." badges were hot items, and Art Buckwald made the tongue-in-cheek suggestion that David Brinkley should be the prime suspect because Dallas had sunk Brinkley's competing show. The culprit turned out to Kristen Shepard (Mary Crosby), and when J.R. threatened to have her arrested she announced that she was carrying his illegitimate child."

I can't believe we are talking about an 80's TV show.

personally i always prefered almost every other show...
Mork'n'Mindy, Taxi, Cheers, Roseanne and that one about the two family - can't remember the name, but had 2 families in the same house one was rich, tates and can't remember the name of the other one ... and its theme tune was all like.

Do doo de dah do dood da de dah do doo de dah do dood da dood da dood de da doo dood... ya know and then it'd be all like explaining the situation and then go "confused? you will be!"

god that was like my favourite show
man they don't make shows like that no more

Never liked Mork & Mindy, nor Cheers (although I do like Fraiser).
And I've never been able to stand Happy Days.

The best thing on Nickelodeon was Invader Zim. Shame they took it out.

This was all a ploy for her to post a larger pic of the "pic that shall not be posted" Carry on though, if you can get her to post it, that'd be amazing (dont think it'll happen though, Randi's will is too strong)

Well... she's wrong.
I mean I made it in photoshop and I smoothed out some edges, but it's all me.
You can either believe it or not.
There is no way I can prove it.

There was a thread I had going where a similiar remark was made.
At that point I gave a website of where I worked, told what time I was there, and it showed a phone number, and said call if you don't believe me.
Ask to talk to me, ask my boss, what ever.
Calls are still welcome, just let me know...
Or quit making me feel like garbage.

ahh that was it... Soap loved that show
was definately one of the best things america have churned out.

i liked Mork'n'Mindy as well as Cheers and the Cosby show, but not in that "man if i don't get home i'll miss it!" kinda sense.
Soap, Dark Angel, Stargate SG-1, Zoids, Invader Zim & Red Dwarf.
(not that crappy american version, BLECK! you know they got some hunky good looking american to play Lister, i mean that just totally ruined the character - not to mention the rest of the cast)

i'm also really getting into that Dead Like Me show, definately funny
those are about the only shows i'd do anything to get control of the TV for
there's also Ghost in the Shell : Stand Alone Complex... but its not out yet. But fantastic news is that Toonami (used to be CNX) in the UK are going to be the first western channel to show it, translated and uncut.
They'll be putting it on at 11pm starting just after Christmas after the final episode of this season finishs in Japan

i seriously can't wait cause my bro is gonna burn then to DvD for me and mail them each week (which is awesome).

gotta say although there's alot of UK shows that are alright, there has been nothing but bildge since the late 80s in the sitcoms...
i mean there was that show called game on or something like that which was good and Time Gentleman Please is a classic (but i think the humour is a bit to brit cause my american mates just kinda look at the TV with a blank expression lol)

drop the dead donkey was good, but wasn't exactly must see TV.

as for randi's sig, but i'm not exactly sure what you think could be fake about it ... not to sound offensive or anything but
a) the picture on here is far too small to tell any REAL detail
b) it's not as if Randi is like one of these playboy supermodels with 20ft inflatable breasts and impossible proportions

i mean c'mon, seriously why did you even have to go there?
even if you do believe its fake there is no need to ACTUALLY say anything, and to me her pictures look just fine.

hehe sorry randi didnt mean to offend, i just think she got jealous, but as you said you did phiotoshop it to round some parts, that is what she meant not that you foto shopped some ugly or anything
an di think leaving the forums just cause you think someone said you're ugly is pretty silly, i mean who cares what some internet nerd says, even though he is quite a handsome pirate

Japan is my life. Anime weaves it's way into just about all parts of my daily life. The only thing that has influanced me as much as Japan is the movie "The Dark Crystal", directed and created by Jim Henson and Frank Oz. No wonder why I love BESM d20 so much.

Maybe Randi is leaving cuz countless guyes can't keep it in there pants. I've seen it before a dosen times, anybody remember the Bunny post?

I loved the Dark Crystal! - Skelfling! - you should check out the Labyrinth too if you haven't already, some really great characters in that.

If Randi is leaving, it's because of the attention she draws to herself. Nobody asked her to put saucy pics on her signature, and I reckon we've all maintained our cool. Remember she left after someone asked if the pic had be photoshopped - not because people were asking for photos. Personally I think she's a great laugh and hope she stays/comes back, the place won't be the same without her.
