@Model packs

actualy, I'm going for a multiplayer game idea.
it's probably never gonna get off the ground though. :-\

back on topic, I had another idea: seeing as what some people want is bodys, then what would go good with it is a fly swarm decal/sprite/whatever we call it. perfect to put around corpes and such.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll keep them in mind. As I mentioned in another thread, I'll be spending most of this month catching up on some of my own projects, so this thread won't be getting as many updates as it was a few weeks ago. At least until the end of the month.

I'm uploading the Lights Entity Pack this morning, for anyone that was waiting for it. If anyone else has any model requests, feel free to mention them.

Small update. I haven't been doing a lot of 2D work recently, so I started working on a few HUDS earlier this morning to get back into the kick. I'm planning on throwing a moderate-sized pack together featuring various animated and static HUDS, suiting for any horror game. So, if anyone has any suggestions for the pack, I'd love to hear them.

I want to make it clear now that this pack will be an exclusive asset, only available to participants in my upcoming FPSC competitions However, since I am fishing for ideas in my free media thread, I'll make sure a few of the HUDS find their way into this thread when the pack is finished.

How about a lightning HUD. Just a bright flash or something?

I suppose that this is where I'm supposed to put some witty one liner. Well...sorry to dissapoint.

WOW Kravenwolf, i don't know if you've ever heard of the survival horror game Fatal Frame, but that camera reminds me a lot of it! It looks awesome... Good job on it! Also, i didn't know you were having contests, what are they for?

EDIT: I think it would be neat to have night vision on the camera, just like in the scary movies, when that's they're only source of light. Idk, just an idea.

Cheers, Jake

@Model Packs, I'll see what I can do with Fenix Mod's flashlight, and a few other features, as far as setting up a night vision effect for the camera. Great idea!

@Bloody James, Most of my textures are reworked images from CGtextures. Some, I upload myself using a dig. camera, and rework them from there. I won't be uploading either of those two textures, because they are from one of my own personal game projects.

Unfortunately, no. I've been pretty busy lately as I mentioned, but I am still trying to squeeze in a few free models for the community when I can get the chance. I figure one is still better than zero.

You mean like this? It's in my GC Store account for 100 points; been there since last year

I really like that idea. Keep an eye out

Quote: "can you make some tuts on how to make some awesome textures!"

Most of my textures start as images from cgtextures. I just make them seamless, add in a touch of grunge, scratches, noise, adjust the contrast and etc; and then bake ambiant occlusion onto [most] of them. Aside from the AO bake, I'm using fairly basic techniques.

@Everyone else, thanks for the comments. I already have another small entity pack in the works, that I'm sure is going to stand out from the others

I started working on it but my texture skills are down in the dirt and I didn't like the model with the texture. But the model that I made for my Dental office looked great! But I abandon it.
