as far as I understand how AppGameKit works you can sell your games but to get them to the different stores you'll need:
- Subscription (Apple - $99 per year, AppUp etc.)
- for iOS - a Mac to compile natively (through XCode)
(this has nothing to do with TGC, it's a requirement of the different platforms)
The "player" is only for testing purposes. You code your game/app then send it through wifi connection to all test machines. If you're satisfied with the result you have to compile it to the different platforms. You won't need the "player" for that.
On 15th we'll see how that works on other platforms (Bada etc.)
