My brother found out I watch My Little Pony today. He said I'm no longer his brother.

They should make a cheap online flash game that involves making your own pony. Those all turn out like crap (ie. the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends one where you make your own Imaginary Friend and solve problems around the house which was crap) but would entertain me for a while just in the character creation.

They do have one, it's called "Adventures in Ponyville."

I don't really play it, and you can only make mares in it.

Hmmm, my drawing skills are lacking...and with a mouse it's just apoalyptically bad.

I have been considering getting a cheap, basic graphics tablet...if such a thing exists.

Because despite the steroetypes attached to My Little Pony, of girly low-quality animation, this turns out to be surprisingly good...and irritatingly addictive.

On my webcomic site, Bazzelwaki, someone mentioned something called "friendship is magic" that they needed to watch to get over seeing me snap the main character's arm in half.

I laughed, asked if that was even a thing, and goggled it. I thought to myself "you had to look, didn't you?". Then someone else responded, and asked what the **** the person had done to them, that they were 8 episodes in and knew all the ponies names. 0_o

I told this to my friends, they burst out laughing for a few minutes, and finally said we had to watch it.

We watched 9 episodes straight.

Now, I'll say straight out Adventure Time is the best cartoon on the air right now, hands down. Friendship is Magic is the second.

Fluttershy FTW.

This is the page of my comic, the comment in question is the second one down.

Edit: Saw the mention of tablets. Bamboo is definitely the way to go for "cheap" tablets. It's Wacom, and Wacom is... Wacom. I use a small Intuos4 myself which is their upper end stuff (just the small model), but bamboo is more affordable, and kinda a night and day experience if you've never tried computer art with a digitizer tablet and pressure sensitivity.

I've never watched Adventure Time, but it sounds like it's popular. As far as this cartoon, it's just so...good.

Adventure Time is a little over the top silly, and I am throwing it out there that while you can be on the thread posting, that you can be a TGC MLP watcher, to truly join our cult you must make your avatar MLP. Because so many people are no coming on.

Well it's hardly mandatory. But we do require you to post a video on youtube of yourself singing Winter Wrap Up in a supermarket/similarly embarassingly setting to prove your bronyhood.

Also this is the best part of the entire series ever:

/Edit/

Whoops. Accidentally posted the Skyrim trailer.

This is the best episode to watch after he first two by the way. It's best to watch the first two to get used to the characters. Howeve this one will begin to show you how Fluttershy is the best one in the group:

This should be interesting...

And atm Cormorant, I'm just getting the gist of the basic art style, my main problem is drawing which parts first. In the sow they're a layered bunch of flash sprites, I'm just trying to get an idea of whether to draw body the legs, head, mane, etc or what.

It's starting to look more like ponies now. But there's alot of scrumpled paper here...

It's fine. I honestly don't expect anyone to do the stuff I ask about, it's just that in case someone has the talent and the time I want to throw it out there.

Beg in 2D art. Someone pops on their every month or so, you may get lucky.

Also I believe my avatar is my best so far. I'm feeling pretty fluttershy for a white guy atm.

Derpy's becoming a real character in season 2. Hooray!

This makes me happy, but it will bring some of the humor out of Derpy Hooves.

Besides, what was her one line (muffins) in? What episode?

Eyyyyup.

So hopefully she'll get fleshed out a bit more. There's a mare called Ditzy Doo that gets referred to in Winter Wrap Up, fans reckon they'll use her with Derpy's model.
