My understanding is that we don't have very many entries into the contest.Your entry is welcome.

Note to everyone:
There is one week left in the contest.A lot of people have donated time, products, resources, etc. to make this a success. But it can't succeed if you don't enter. There will be five winners and there are a lot of nice prizes available for the winners.
The only way for this contest to continue after June 15th is for you forum members to participate.
It would be a shame to see such a good idea go down the tubes but I will not ask people for the time, resources, etc. if no one is going to enter the contest. It's not fair to them.

There is one week left before the contest deadline and we want to give away some cool prizes, not to mention I was personally looking forward to playing the levels.
Please get your entry in and good luck.
Once again I want to thank everyone who has donated for this contest in any way.I appreciate it!

Bullshock,
Nice sig!

The list so far is:
Jon's CorePak Vol. 1
ECSPro
Templar's hud packs
Keith's WWII model pack
and I bought an extra copy of the animated sprite pack I will put up as a prize.
Is that all or are there any more that you know of?

Edit post:Rich (Opus Games) has graciously donated a $50 cash prize.
I think I still have a few others out there.I am just making sure before I post them.Thanks.

Update:
Ben is donating prizes.I believe they are his game,a landscape pack, and a music pack (your choice).
Higgins is donating his melee pack.

Yet another prize update:
BlobZone is donating a copy of Model Pack 2.

And yet another another update GBC_Games has doanted a copy of his explosives pack for the contest. Thanks again to all who have donated.

You can check the first post on the first page for entry information.

Really weird .wav you have there...
As I found Fred's list of prizes a little confusing, I will post it in an easier form for others whom also found it confusing...Any updates and I will simply edit this post and add more, then post at the end of this thread saying that an update has been made.
Anyway, the current list of prizes (10th June 2006, 9:45PM England Time) is:
-Corepack Volume 1 by Jonfletc
-ECSPro
-Hud Packs by Templar
-WWII Model Pack by KeithC
-TGC's Animated Sprite Pack
-50$, donated by Opus Games
-Melee Pack by Higgins
-Benjamin A's Game
-Model Pack 2, donated by Blobzone Entertainment Inc.
-Landscape Pack by Benjamin A
-Music Pack by Benjamin A
-An Explosives Pack, donated by GBC_Games

These are all the prizes to date. Updates will be made as the prizes are changed. As soon as I gather the information, I will also update this with links to information on each prize, if a link exists, that is.

Just to correct a slight mistake in the above list Tom made.... I'm not donating my landscape Pack and Game and Music Pack at ones, a winner can choose one of them, that's also what Fred stated in his prize list. But ít's an ongoing donation, next competition these prices are a available again and one of the winners can pick the one he/she likes again.

You will have to get in touch with Keith or JOOM at OzarkGames.com.
They have an area for you to upload your game.I don't know if they will want you just to post a link.I think they want you to upload the level but you will have to check with them for sure.
Go ahead and e-mail me the link just in case.

BTW Tomorrow is the deadline!!!!

Anyhow,I see it has been pointed out but I can't stress it enough.

LAST DAY FOR THE CONTEST!
Get those entries in.Thank you.

Thank you for deleting my entry Tom.

FredP, Tom has deleted my entry I uploaded last night. I am now going to PM JustOneOldMan.

Tom had a little hissy fit with me, so I know it was him who deleted it.

Plus JustOneOldMan knows I uploaded my game, so Tom, deleting it will just get you into trouble.

I have sent him a message about it. I was talking to him while I was uploading it this morning. I dont find it funny either, I was up all night getting my level ready and some one, most likely Tom, deletes it on me.

Do you really want the whole story?

About 3-5 days ago Tom sent me the fpsc manual, at least tried to. It got cancelled for some reason and he called me the c word on a lady, no nice question about why it was cancelled, just that word.

I said it must have been cancelled his end, he didnt like that, so I said msn must have done it. So he carried on being him self, swearing at me. So I had enough and swore back at him.

I was trying to freak him out to shut him up, but I just ended up blocking him on msn, because honestly, hes worse on msn than on the forums.

So last night, I stayed up till 5am getting my level ready and uploading it. Talked to JOOM about uploading it, he was a good help.

The just before, I came on the forums and saw a new post here. Tom had posted and said:

Quote: "Well, the end of the day has almost come, and only two entries are within the ftp...This should be interesting.

Tom"

I smell some thing fishy with that post. So I go to check the ftp that JOOM had set up for us to upload our levels. I see my zip, of all 110MB is gone.

I just think its funny that its gone and tom had posted he checked the ftp for submissions.

Plus, on top of it all, he emails me with swearing, asking why I think it was him who deleted my game.

May I upload a new build. Some light fixes and enemy tweaking. I think it would be fair considering some one deleted the one I had, on me.

thats the info i pulled off of tom0001's profile with my mod tools, its one of many, but one of his ips does match the deleter.

plus i dont think he can deny it, hes logged on to that ip 144 times...

im afraid that tom did delete higgens entry, i think he should be disqualified.

I was hoping that wan't the case.I think Tom ought to be disqualified for that too but I am going to leave it up to the judges.
My guess would be yes but it is their call.

Yes, he told me he has a back up of my game, but I was asking if I could upload a new build, with some small fixes. I think its only fair, Ive had little sleep with uploading and the mess around. Ive asked JOOM about this too, but had no reply yet.

I am only allowed to upload my entry now because Tom deleted it on me.

If Tom did delete it (which from the sounds of it, he did), then he is disqualified from the competition. I think we can squeeze you in, Cal Man; you have to upload it to our site using an FTP, such as FTP Master; please get in contact with JOOM as soon as possible, as we will not wait long.

It does have to be a built game, because a judge may not have fpsc, but is helping out the community.

Blobzone,
Before you FTP Cal Man's entry into the Level Design competition can you build the game and the FTP that please. At least one of the judges doesn't have FPSC so the entries need to be playable without FPSC.
If you have any difficulties let me know and I will take care of it.
Thanks.

BTW I have no timetable on when the judges will be done with the contest.I am pretty sure it will be next week at the earliest.
So if you don't hear anything please don't freak out.
Someone will let you know as soon we know something.

I've already downloaded, and played Cal's entry. JOOM confirmed that the records show that Tom did in fact delete Higgin's entry. Tom is now exempt from the competition, I don't care how good his level was; he messed with Ozark Games.

I spoke to Tom about this slight "Mis" understanding,as what he told me he lost the FTP data and told me it could be an upload error or database failure during upload.

i havent noticed once he lied to me so i ask ONE chance to let HIM defend himself.

i hope this request is token into consideration.

Master Mind.

I find it funny that he emailed me to say why I posted that he deleted my game and that he never did. Honestly, I think hes gone into hiding now; I havent seen him post here for a while.

On top of it all, he has been getting sunday to post his messages for him. I think he was trying to hide his IP, so he would not get caught.

**EDIT**

Master Mind, please dont believe any thing Tom tell's you. I have now learnt he is a lying little worm.
