Okay. I don't think you should be using website's logos in your banner.

Sticking a white glowing logo onto the only bit of the photo with white in it, makes it a little hard to see, you'd have done better to move it to the left onto the black area zzz.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

I know, but I meant to put it there, so that the text would blend with the light.

The only thing I would say about a lot of these banners is that it is not really neccessary to mention 'the game creators' or 'forums' as logo at topleft of page says 'the game creators' and underneath it says 'developer forum', and it is quite obvious you are on a forum anyway (unless you're as thick as custard).

mmmmmm, lumpy custard, I remember having that at School about 25 years ago. Yuk.

Tear down those banners ...

(And under 8kb!)

I tend to agree Spooky. I mentioned earlier that some of them seem to be more like advertising banners too - as if they were going to appear on other peoples sites with links to this one. Not the case as far as I know.

Edit: Just a bit of info about this one - the little man is a very low poly model I made for a game not long ago (without the texture). I loaded and positioned it in DBPro and then took a screenshot and shrunk it down to use in this banner.

Yep, sex sells

The right hand on the model look somewhat wierd though and there is some visible deformation on the left hand (probably vertex weight related), but other than that it's all good.

seeing as this competition is coming to an end soon, i decided to make one last banner.

it's supposed to be a book, but you can't tell really unless you know what to look for.

The logo makes it look like the sleeve of a cloth jacket or something, looks sawn on rather then printed. It's a good effect though, I'm not even sure how I'd go about recreating it if I wanted too.

Well yeah, it looks like a wrist to me to, it's just that it looks wierd from that angle or something. I don't know, but there is something about that wrist that bothers me. It's possessed or something.
