I took the same sledge and distorted the head a bit.. the result a nice pick axe..

.x and texture in attached zip.

Cheers!

Vampiric, I use LithUnwrap 1.3 it's the free version. You can find it on the net with a google search. Lith is what I use to convert the original .3ds exports to .x. I allways save as text uncompressed for then .x that way I can edit it after and change the texture file from .bmp to .jpg. For some reason Bryce does not like .bmp as a texture in a .x model.

Your work is excellent David, would it be ok if I used one or two of your models in my project? I have now got to the point where im thinking the less modelling I have to do the better Full credit would obviously be given.

Vampiric, you are free to totally change the texture if you so desire. I try to keep my uv maps simple so that they can be easily modified.

My models can be used commercially, the only thing I ask is place my name in the credits somewhere, and if you make millions it would be nice if you tossed some crumbs in my direction lol

I would if I could, but I can't so I won't.

..I'm curious,.. which of my models gave you the impression I could model characters? the cubes? the weapons? or was it the cards? lol

@David
Your 3D stuff is getting better and better all the time, nice use of that warhammer model too
I like the way you always present your models with a backdrop it just adds a touch of class

@Xeno
Your inanimate objects are good but I'm not so sure about your death guy. And by the way your TV is out of proportion, the standard screen size ratio is 4:3, edit that and it'll look great

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it was rubbish.

Yup, Anim8or to model, LithUnwrap to make the UV maps. Bryce to render samples and various viewers to ensure compatibility.

I always save as .x in LithUnwrap (text uncompressed) so that I can easily edit the texture image name. Bryce does not like .bmp for textures on models. it'll crash everytime I load an .x model with a bmp texture,.. that's why I make a .jpg version. works in all my viewers, dbpro and bryce.

Cheers!

Hey I was wondering if u have or could make any of these 3 models. I need a simple 3d rock. I also need a Palm Tree because my game takes place in the desert. I also could use a simple 3d health vial or potion bottle. If you could make these or 1 of them I would really appreciate it. All the best, Beastegargoyle
