btw I remember there being a free palm tree model posted for FPSC I'm not sure if FPSC models can be used in regular bpro, but it can be found doing a search for 'palm tree'

Just thought I'd point that out.

@David Gervais - I found the palm tree. Although when I load it in Dbp it shows white around the leaves what could I do to remove that. All the best, Beastegargoyle

Well there is two ways to fix that, you can go into the texture change it to a .png or any other format that supports transparency and turn the white to transparency, or you could use the commands in DBPro to do it. In DBPro you would use "set object transparency".

BTW great models David.

Here is the vial model...
If you load it it DBC there is no transparency and it is slightly shorter, but I can try to change it. Here it is:

David Gervais:

Very nice work as always!

You are a talented and generous guy. We plan to use several of your models in the WIP, TGC Heroes. You will, of course, be credited for your work.

Thanks again,

Nice crowbar David, no I'm off to act like the n00b i am and make a flash life 2 clone .

Actually this is for my horror game, it'll be one of the items you pick up and use to open doors. I've already got the code sorted but you can't tell what your holding, so you could end up trying to open a door with a sausage

Nice bucket and log! Although, Tdk's log is more rough(jaggy) which i liked and will use(no offense). Thanks David and keep up the great work. Next you'll be making a tent to set beside this bucket, lol. All the best,

Sweet lamp and axe, David! Very appreciated contribution. 1 suggestion though, maybe give it a hook/chain in top of it, to hold it onto a pole if required or wanted.

ALl the best,

I was just wondering, I have animated the crowbar and imported it into fps creator. Would I be able to release it to the community for free?

Darimc, yes by all means feel free to post your version (editd/animated) version of the crowbar. All the models I post here are free, free to use, free to edit, free to enjoy.

Cheers!

btw here is a sword I made when I saw a nice reference image in a different thread..

you can go to the thread and download the .x file and texture..

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=133335&b=3

off hand I'd say 250 poly's or less= low poly model, 250-600 medium ploy model, 600-1k poly's = large model. anything over 1k poly's is what I would consider High Quality model suitible for rendering/ray tracing type jobs.

That said, a low poly model with a great texture can often look as good as a high poly version of the same. One day I'll fool around with normal and bump mapping.. Jon Fletcher's thread has shown me that this adds a whole new dimension to the look and feel of models.

Cheers!
