I've also noticed that the guide is severely lacking in help for multiplayer. I've started messing around with multiplayer but don't really know what I'm doing, what I can / can't have in my level, etc. I know there's stuff out there when I search but I was wondering if anyone could put together some sort of beginners guide to multiplayer. Anyone interested?

Have you tried both links? Try right clicking a links and select "Save As". Both links should work. Is anyone else having trouble downloading?

That's odd as both links work fine for me. What browser are you using? I've tried both FireFox and IE7 and there's no problem. Is anyone else at all getting this problem?

Press CTRL+F5 and see if it's still visible as I'm having problems with the hosting. I can't access my webspace or the hosting company (www.1and1.co.uk). I'm not seeing my sig!?

jeez, it may be possible that you were trying to download when the hosting was offline as I can't access it myself now, nor can I access my web space nor the hosting company www.1and1.co.uk!

I'm trying to find out what's going on.

Awesome looking guide there, Nickydude!

Thanks to your efforts, my tutorials may yet help people for much longer than a single thread could.

Nice job to all others who contributed to this great guide!

Thanks guys

I've decided to do one more revision (FPSC X9, Revision 9, geddit?) so if there's anything you'd like to see, or more importantly add, then nows your chance.

Was going to take a break... But I missed FPSC!

I would like something of mine added, how to make more than two enemies attack you at once. Here's how I do it: I go to the physics properties, find "always active" and set it to "yes". Make pictures or whatever you like to help newbs out with it.

If you want I could give you my pressure pad script. It's a lot like CE's script on page 62 only it works for entities and the player.

@Nicydude

I made a little tutorial based on some script here to how to win a level with a switch like in Doom1. If you want it to put it in your guide, I will send it to you in email, or here.

Nickydude, if enough people are keen I think go for it. and nice menu system would make it a great feture.
Im also not sure what uses system resources more, Adobe reader or IE7/Firefox.

Definitally Adobe Reader... that things takes forever to launch (IMHO) bu Ie7 doesn't take up as much resources on my comp even when i got 9 tabs openned up to rather image intensive pages.

Nickydude, i think a web version of your guide would be phenomenal! With a nice search engine, menu navigation (Preferably Tree style, if you ask me ), and possible request area it would be the pinnacle of FPSC knowledge.

Might I suggest a menu (Contents quick links etc) that scrolls with the page, and instead of having all of the pages on one large html file do plenty. That or integrate mootools in to it, then it would most definitely be the most unique manual on the web.
