That's northern Ohio, us Southerns' are more respectable.

I only know two things about Taylor Swift: she's hot, and she has the same birthday as me which means we will be married in 5 years of course, I say 5 because I don't want to be tied down just yet.

Ah crap she's going to cheat on me, what a bitch, on our fifth anniversary too!

I'm assuming Beethoven is THE Beethoven and not some RnB singer?
If so what are you doing comparing him to a 19 year old Country singer? (don't know why country deserved a capital letter there?)

She's very pretty, and you know it.
As for the marriage thing... good luck, haha.
Its funny about Birthdays, I have the same birthday as my teacher, who is about 50 years older than me. Literally.

Well, that can be a turn-off for some people...but I actually think she is an average looking blonde country singer. They are a dime a dozen.

I could have a dozen Taylor Swifts for a dime.

*resists over 9000 joke*

And she's only moderately good looking at best. Mostly because I can't stand the stubble.

Sometimes reading posts from Zeus or I will bring gut-wrenching laughter, drenched pants, and a full load of underwear.

Yeah you really can't compare beethoven and Taylor swift cause these are just two comletely different genres. I personally like classical and I have to agree here that yes, in a hundred yrs from now people will still know who beethoven is, as far as what's her name again? well.......... Although it sounds like a nice song, seeing it is from a pop star, I often wonder who their writers are and who the people are that are actually playing the instruments seeing as most stars like her don't.

Quote: "I'd rather compare Sabbath's War Pigs to Faith No More's cover. Or Thin Lizzy's Whiskey in the Jar to Metallica's cover."

I personally prefer the original war pigs I've always liked Ozzies work, and as far as whisky in the jar, I like both but prefer the original by thin lizzy, just the way he sings it i find it to be more catchy than Hetfield.

I probably actually prefer Metallica's cover, but then Metallica was the first metal band I started listening to, though I've not heard Faith No More's cover of War Pigs.

Though perhaps compare Pink Floyd to The Australian Pink Floyd Show...Aussie Floyd are flipping amazing, tribute bands are usually thought lesser because they don't write their own material, but Aussie Floyd really, really do the original stuff justice - just go and watch them live - I saw them when they were doing a tour for 'The Wall' - they even introduced a theatrical element amongst the image visual effects. A real treat. Of course after they finished all of the songs from The Wall they played some of the well known PF songs as part of their encore.

But it would seem I've side tracked myself.

Is that supposed to be The White stripes?

Anyways, I'd rather Beethoven. His music was classic, Taylor Swift's is not.

Oh and Spotify says that Taylor Swift is on a soundtrack for the Hannah Montana movie. I think that speaks for itself about which artist is timeless.

Signature? There is no signature!

Beethoven didn't even write the song!

Cast my vote for Francis Lai.

Here's what we should compare Love Story by Francis Lai VS Warsaw Concerto by Richard Addinsell

You guys see what Kanye West did to Taylor at the MTV awards? Like her or not, that was a jackass move. She handled it gracefully, but looked humiliated, the stunned look on her face broke my heart.

I'm not really a big fan of Taylor Swift like others here might be (nothing against her either), but I did feel bad for her when that idiot did that. He was just trying to...Beyonce...well, I can't really say anything here

I just watched it on YouTube, ah what a douche. He thought he was trying to be clever, what a nonse.

Though, South Park has it right, Kanye West is a gay fish:

No disrespect is meant to anybody being gay, but the episode was meant to mock his intelligence more than anything.

Yeah, I did see when he screwed her up at the MTV awards. Beyonce was nice about it, but I really got kinda pissed off at Kanye West.
I dunno, Kanye West fans will probably get mad at you Seppeku Arts lol.
Yeah, even if I really not like a person, seeing them sad or stunned or such really kinda makes me feel sorry for them.
