Yeah, making a complete game is a lot of hard work. Keep it up

A small update on wath iam doing as van haven't seen this either
He is working on some new media so I do some coding in the meantime

Update on the work we are doing on the next alpha release.
Almost all internally created meshes are now modelled meshes instead so we can add more variations on all segments without changing any textures etc.
Recoded the dungeon collider that will show more later on when all collisions for everything also have bin updated.
Adde a slightly bent plane for the enemys so they are slightly rounded on the sides that give a better look.
Rewrote the entire sound system to be easier to update and modifie and all enemys now use the same sound folder where you simply guide the engine to the right sound with a simple script.
This movie is played in 20 fps so I could test how it would perform on low spec android devices and its pretty good now but neads more tweaking.
I also have to go thru the ai as it seams a bit messed up right now with enemys detecting players thru walls and doors at some stages?
We will still try to stay true to the right retro blend of games on the c64 and amiga
As soon as everything is done and ready for a new alpha release so will it be found on the indidb site.

Cool, that helps break up the repetitive walls and floors, makes it look more organic I think.

I'm working on that texture set and a new enemy

Looks great, really like that lighting system!
Haven't tried it yet, will do that at the weekend though.

Turns out pixelated steampunk is pretty tricky - I'll keep at it though.

Looks pretty nice I know it's part of your style, but I still think the FOV is way too small. I have trouble operating games like that not sure if it's worth the frames you save. Also, the sound from those green plant enemies is unfortunately rather annoying

I agree with the FOV thing aswell, a low FOV is really hard to play with for me
