Busch? Busch? Did Nader and his VP die? Is this their Speaker of the House-hopeful taking over? BUSCH?

Joking aside, I can't vote, but my parents will probably vote for Bush and I could if I would. Lesser of two evils based on the nature of the situation.

If I could vote, I wouldn't vote for Busch since there is no such candidate. I wouldn't vote for Bush, either.

Go Kerry...

By going to war with Iraq he indirectly killed loads of innocent people then. Damn him trying to control everyone.

Quote: "Saddam killed more innocent people

Thats not the point, its not a competition!
What Saddam was doing with his country was his buisness, it had nothing to do with Bush.

And where's your proof that he's killed innocent people??

When it boils down to it, Bush is a human being, he had the power to stop the senseless murdering of other innocent human beings and prevent more terrorists attacks in his country.

I think you've been in France too long their buddy. I know it's all peaceful there, no worries, nobody cares about the French and their... butter.

Take a step back and put yourself in his shoes. You'll see differently, I promise.

Watch Michael Moore's Farenheit 911

It's an interesting viewpoint from one man.

What? Your talking about Saddam and the Iraqi people, right? As I said earlier, it had NOTHING to do with bush, hes just trying to control Iraq.

And theres no proof the bombings were set up by Saddam.

You know, this brings up an interesting point. I mean, here's what I think. The stupid people, and the really smart people, vote for Bush. Why? Well, the people in between think they're all smart and know about politics by saying "well, bush wasted like 100 billion dollars in iraq, come on, he sucks because of that." Well, compared to the current US debt that exceeds 7 trillion, 100 bilion is practically nothing. Sure it was a waste of time, but when you ask these people who say bush sucks cuz he wasted money in iraq, what else he did wrong, they dont have anything. The smart people realize this, and they still, may or may not vote for Bush, for other reasons (they dont like some of this OTHER policies, other than iraq). And last election, stupid people just followed the crowd

I didnt mean any offense by this, just pointing out that there is a lot of ignorance. You can be "in the middle" and still vote for Bush. I personally wouldnt vote for bush, because I dont like some of this other polices.

Ignorant and uninformed if nothing else. A personal ban should make you
think before you type. I hope a Mod picks that up.

It wasn't a waste of money. What exactly is money good for if we shovel billions of it away to foreign aid but don't dare spend a cent to dispose of a megalomanical mass murderer?

Pet Rat-> Jimmy's right... you really don't understand the politics.

Indian-> Stupid people vote for Kerry or Bush because they buy the propaganda. Smart people vote for Kerry or Bush because they see past it and examine how their own beliefs align with the values of the candadite and the party.

Unfortunately we don't ban people because of the way they think, ignorant or not, he's still entitled to his opinion. You only warrant a ban if you spam the forums or post offensive and inappropriate material.

On a similar note, could everyone try to keep this thread under control. No personal attacks, just have a mature and controlled discussion... or debate, as that's what seems to be happening here.

So much for patriotism... I guess you wouldn't have minded if they chose a different target? Maybe your school, your home, or your office? (Ok, I admit terrorists are not going to personally target your home, etc. unless you flicked off Osama or the likes of, but consider the point hypothetically)

@Pet Rat - Of course I'd be upset. Not only do I have friends who live in France, but the fact that such a maniacal fanatic would knowingly kill innocent people is enough to make me pissed off.

And btw, it seems that most people don't know why Osama hates the US. Well, it's because we helped him drive out foriegn influence long ago and unknowingly violated his holy land. How's that for hospitality?

You have friends in France so you think you should be upset because they might? I would be upset if it was to kill people, however, just destroying a landmark wouldn't bother me.

Yes, I would be upset if they destroyed a landmark. Landmarks represent our history and culture. They are what help identify what we are and through their marvelous existence put our world into perspective.

And they're pretty to look at!
