I don't understand the point of this thread. It doesn't seem like you get awarded with points anymore...

... and? Its the thread to post anything and everything that doesnt fit anywhere else. This place is like forum hell. The mods would say
"The Posting Competition, we dont go there any more, Gordon."

I just took a nice stroll in some down pouring rain with some nice lightning and thunder.

This place did become its forum around 2 years ago, its fun, egotistical and you can show, say whats on your mind, do whatever you like. Though if you get this thread locked well, you computer will be visted by a 'very' mean virus.

now continue,

Yay i has 57 page views on DA since i started about 5 days ago, When i get two years worth of work on thier, (it all in moderation -_-) i thinks i might get a 'few' more. I have 5 people add my work within the time it took me to upload the next piece lol.

Ohh forgot to mention, one week and am off for 6 weeks!!!!! woot, though i dont get paid... but 6 weeeks !!!!

Don'tcha love people with no lives?

I just watched Knowing, which I thought was pretty decent. Randomly browsing imdb afterward for reviews and other stuff, and I come across this "mistake" that was apparently made in the movie.

Mario Galaxy...2?!?!?!?!?

Cool. Me want!

On a side note...

I broke up with my gf a couple of weekends ago because she wasn't who I thought she was. And this last weekend, I saw her holding hands with her friend (who is a girl), and then they (I hope jokingly) kissed...umm...yeah.

I guess that was an enlightnening experience. Well, the closest I've been to a potential girlfriend was eyecontact, about 7 years ago. She so missed out.

You can't believe how hard it is to find anyone who deserves me.

It was a bit enlightening because it showed me I need to be a better judge in character.

And Grandma, I'm sure someday you'll find someone who does a bit more than eye contact. Perhaps hand holding is in your future!

The trick with Girl Friends is to not speak of them on the internet for at least 3 months. That way, the only ones you mention are probably keepers.

I guess I can only speak from experience, and become good friends with someone before you consider becoming intimate. I knew my girl friend for at least 2-4 months before we started dating. I wouldn't say you have to wait that long, I'm just very shy around new people. But really try to get to know someone quite well before hand. Even though you're going to find out that there's a lot more to them if you start dating, you really do need to know if this is a person who you truly like/love, and can accept their imprefections/annoyances/dark secrets once you learn them. You will never find the exact perfect person, you just should look for a close match that you can shape yourself a bit to.

Think of it like a jigsaw puzzle with over 6 billion pieces. You wanna find the exact piece, or one that has a relatively fitting picture or shape?

Heck, what if it's one of those 3D puzzles?

You can't say I don't learn from my mistakes. Having unintentionally lost my 3D art projects twice over the years, I have now created a folder to store all the files and renders of my projects. This folder is saved on my primary hard drive, secondary hard drive, external hard drive, and a DVD-RW. No such thing as being too cautious.

WOW. Runescape has an overwhelming number of skills and things to do to keep you either grinding or actually doing interesting things for the rest of your life (g-d, what a scary idea), but is less team based. WOW becomes your social life, and might require you to play at certain times. You can't have one character specialize in everything as well, so you might make multiple characters to compensate.

I'd have to say my personal experience is that RS in more fun, but that's my opinion. I've never much enjoyed WOW-style mmo's.

Sure. The only issue I had was that no one seems to have much luck with the HTTP commands, so I had to save all the pages to my computer and go from there. It didn't take long, though, I just set the posts-per-page to the max.

(Not well-commented )
DL Removed - There's a new one just after post 5,800.

If there's enough interest I could add some of the stuff I kind of started like a banned list...

Cod4 Online, I guess.

I play BF2, I don't have COD4, but I think COD4 has better online gaming. Personally because BF2 and COD4 are quite similar in nature. Never tried MGSO.
