I believe he used Photoshop.....I think....

I'm just trying to reverse engineer my levels to see what's causing Ply's Mod to spaz out, watch this space.....

Ok, found out what's causing the problem, it's our old friend, MP3......

Apparently, if I put one of the bay doors in my level, it crashes it....despite the fact that I already have 2 in it......

Nevertheless, I'll see what I can do to fix it, and report back when I do.....

Yup, and deleting the doors files then re-installing, all to no avail....

I'm using up the time I've got spare from not being able to test it by trying my hand at making signs in GIMP, I'll show some later after I make some progress.....

Thanks.....

Ok, I have good news...and I have bad news.....

Good news is, I found out what was causing the bug, I had too many decals in my level!

Bad news is, I just built a test game with full shader FX, and it ran at 6-10 fps on my PC....

(Specs:
)

I'll add in the ability to hae shader as an option, you'll have to edit the necessary fields in the Setup.ini file first, but I'll make all objects have a shader assigned, they just won't be used as default...

Oh, and a little more good news, new screen of a pat of level 1 I've remade, it's something of an internal supply depot....

C+C please....

..and another screen, of the new, and improved HUD. with a health bar, armour bar, and a small bit for the healthpack amount.....

Please give C+C on this too.......

Looks good. One thing though. Why is that garage door doing there? It has floor around it.

Oh that.......

I'm using them as placeholders until I get decent blast-doors-ish models, and the gap was because I hadn't built that part of the level yet.......

Like wha-?

Hang on, I'll Google it........

Wow, it is pretty similar. But that's about a war over the fossil fuels, in this game, that's been and done, and the war is over a more lucrative prize. It's still sorta got the East V West thing. Except mine is the whole East Vs the whole West, that's about Russia and China fighting America and Europe....

I never actually knew that game existed.....

@Butt Monkey

Thank you, and good to have you back, I was actually wondering where you'd popped off to this morning, hadn't seen you in yonks...

@Nickydude

Lol, I hate it when people put that on edits...makes me think they said bad things about me....

@Everyone Else

The demo shall be out soon, it will be composed of 2 levels. One will be an environmental demo, to showcase level design, the other a gameplay demo, to showcase the new additions I've added to the engine.....

CG, I was wondering if you would be interested in some interesting horror effects i'm working on. Could be included in the soundtrack for a bit of variety. I've been experimenting on ways I can use an acoustic guitar to make horror sounds. Tell me if your interested!

Horror sound effects

The stuff isn't music, but they aren't sound effects either. It's ambient noise.

That "war atmosphere" would be awesome for what I'm planning for the later levels on the surface! How much does it cost for the pack.....

Good plot, because that could easily actually happen, a war over oil, sort of already happened though. Also nice graphics, are those custom?
