eg fpscip not create tables in my mysql database, I tried to add file.sql through phpmyadmin, but I get error # 1193 - Unknown system variable 'ANSI_NULLS'

So you're trying to use this with a MySQL database. Unfortunately it won't work as FPSC IP uses SQL Server.

You should be able to join to other people hosting the game successfully, so you would join a lobby rather than host one.

I don't know, I personally don't think it's entirely necessary for it to go on the store. There would be no benefit as you can pay using five different methods as it is.

It did have one but it was removed before release due to a problem that occurred which allowed upgrades to be applied without purchase.

Most users trust the TGC store as it is quicker, and more used. Not that you are untrustworthy, or that a credit card isn't fast, but more people use the TGC Store. I for one, would buy this if it was on the GC Store. I don't like going through other companies off-site/non-related very often.

I can't really see how putting this on the store helps overly, as you still have to use paypal etc to buy your points, to then purchase this. Plus I'm not really sure how selling a mod via the store would work. I can't say I ever saw PB etc on there??

Well lets think of it this way, if he sold it on the TGC store:

1. We would be able to use our existing points.
2. We know for sure there will be no glitches.
3. We would know your not scamming us.
4. It would be much easier, and probally faster.

And yes you can sell mods on the TGC store. Just go to filters and check on "APPLICATIONS"

@Putting FPSC IP on the TGC store:
If I was to have FPSC IP v4.0 accepted and put onto the TGC store then the price would have to increase when purchased through the store as TGC would take a cut of the money.

My replies to Monkey Mja's points:
1. True. that would be easier for developers.
2. True as well, although with this method of thinking, you mustn't be able to buy much in your life if you don't use other systems in-case it glitches?
Also all payment methods available to purchase FPSC IP are tried and tested businesses and systems that have been around for years.
3. Yes, you've got to have a certain amount of trust though, which is true of all purchases.
4. It'd take longer to pay through the TGC store as the emails wouldn't be able to be sent automatically like the current FPSC IP payment methods allow for.
With the current system you receive an automated email a few minutes after payment whereas through the TGC store it could take days.

Knxrb, is by no means a Scammer, I know this personally. I have beta tested the application, it exists and is working as he as advertised. Not one single person posted a thread or comment in his version 3.1 thread about him scamming, or he would have been band. Version 4.0 is no different, expect this time he is giving it all in the bag for a cheaper price, with a lot more features that many AAA games have today that is not currently possibly in any mod. Pay-pal would not allow a scammer (Or at least you would hope)

Knxrb needs money (not TGC points) to keep the servers he runs operational for you guys. And has done so for a long time, this means, managing as well as supporting his site, managing the SQL databases, managing the servers he runs to run SQL and to store information on them. Without servers, FPSC IP wont work.

I just went through your site quickly. I will buy this once i have some maps completed and the waiting to join bug is fixed (all of my friends and i have never been able to play a mp game even with port forwarding and firewalls off no matter who the host was). I do have an idea though. You should have a list of all completed games using fpsc ip 4.0 on your site with links to download/purchase and with details submitted by the developer like a summary, # of players etc.

@Anyone interested in this being in the Store (and knxrb),


€12.32 = $15.00 = £6.71 = 1500 TGCS Points. Since FPSCIP4 is around that price, you'd at first think it could be sold for that in the TGCS. However, as knxrb even stated himself, you get half the profit of whatever you sell through the Store. So you could expect a price increase, maybe (hopefully) not by much. Something like 2000 pts - 2500 pts would sound right to me considering you would get a lot more sales through the Store.

Just my two cents, what do you guys (and you, knxrb) think?

I just can't wait for 4.1. This is going to be epic with the DLC system and everything else. knxrb is one of the best guys out there and deserves a lot of money for this mod. I have got my fpsc ip 4.0 and let me tell you everything is just fine. No bugs, people in my test game love the menu.. You won't be disappointed I can tell you that.

Things I am waiting for next version:
Voice chat
Combat arms like shop/DLC System
Waiting to join bug to be fixed!

Yeah I think there should be a 4.1, which has the waiting to join bug fixed, and possibly even scripts working ingame. The whole reason I brought FPSC in the first place was to make a multiplayer game, and if you make that possible, I will go raving nuts and probally buy FPSC IP five times just to thank you.
