I never understood why the meme was "arrow to the knee", it's like no one ever played Skyrim.

So I just wrote a comment about the new episodes on dA, why not copy&paste it over here.. xD

Quote: "The new episodes.. are great in my opinion! Yes, the villian could've needed more screentime (more than gak atleast ) and more action, more motives for what he does other than wanting power etc. ... but after rewatching the ep's I noticed they said he had been banished into the "darkness of the arctic ice" or something, so that would've explained why he was that big cloud of darkness instead of a pony, I think only at the end when he got close to getting the heart he had his actual body again (to then be shattered to pieces ^^) and that would explain why his communication was not the best either. x3 So... I think he wasn't all bad, just could've been more fleshed out.
The rest of the episodes was good, I think they really polished it the best they could and maybe upped the animation and everything a little from S2 though I might just be thinking that.. the S2 finale was equally awesome after all. (Though the S2 finale story arc was a little bit more 'epic' than this one, maybe?)."

Because... I noticed a lot of people are complaining about Sombra, but in my opinion the episodes were good regardless.

Oh and I made a little something last night. (Also using it as my new avatar for the time being)

edit:

Just watched s3e1.
Is it me, or twi's FAT? Animation is crazy? King Sombra (Zombra, whatever) sucks. He is the worst character ever! (c) Rarity. Worst design. Ugly piece of vectors with random colors. Pathetic.

p.s. and why spike dances like an idiot?!

Not much discussion going on here lately :I

The Pinkie Pie episode last week was pretty awesome, and I have to agree with Quik, this type of episodes is better than that two-part season opener... It's nice to see things that have a more 'epic' (there gotta be a better word than that... let's go with dramatic or something) storyline once in a while. But I'm glad the normal episodes are not like that.
This weekend's new episode was aweome, loved every minute, every second of that. The song was good imo and I can't think of anything I disliked...

Aaand why not post my art stuff in this thread. Wouldn't be me if I wasn't spamming links to my dA around

Birthday gift I made for a friend.

And then I broke it. And called it art anyways.

@TheComet

After browsing around that website for a while, there are a few posts that can be used as proof for domestic abuse concerning a certain poster. Not only that, another poster strongly insinuates that both of his previous wives had untimely accidental deaths from falling into his well at the back of his property. Honestly, the authorities should be involved somehow. It's amazing people like this exist and are allowed to congregate on a public forum as such.

Here are a few examples of posts I've found. I'm paraphrasing, and excuse me for going off-topic, but I believe something this serious should at least be addressed.

Quote: "The current Mrs. Hutchins is my third wife, the first two both suffering from an early demise due to drowning by falling into an abandoned covered well at the back of my property."

Quote: "My young wife just read your filthy posts and asked me what an orgasm was! You can blame yourself for the fact that I backhanded her for swearing at me! Also, it's YOUR fault she puked all over the kitchen floor after I washed her mouth out with soap. Apparently, she's developed a sensitivity to Palmolive Liquid since the last time she lipped off to me. I hope you're happy!"

He says that his wife is 14 years old, and later on in the thread the young lady herself posts and requests them to stop talking to her husband as they're only making things worse on her.

Are there things we can do to take action against this? The first fellow is sketchy (even more so if you read his other posts around the forum concerning his behavior towards his wife(ves)), and the second blatantly admits to abusing his 14 year old wife. Again, excuse me for going off-topic, but I'm not sure what can be done as far as action against these people go.

Quik, the more I browse that website, the more disturbed I get. I cannot believe how closed minded and idiotic most of these people are. Here are other examples of people admitting to beating their daughter/sons:

I am truly disgusted.

The authorities could be informed about it. I'll probably end up sending a few e-mails to some news sites and then report it.

Guys, Landover Baptist is a well known troll forum made with the intent of increasing the stereotype of the abusive American Christian.

It is true. I've encountered these sites on my travels, these types of troll exist and they do a really good job of creating the illusion it's real. Also look up Poe's Law.

I was a follower of one similar to that one and later one of them tracked me down on the net to explain what was really going on. Seriously, the lengths people go to troll can be insane. When you start looking at it rationally, you'll notice their mistakes or notice what's strange about it. I had one who has pictures of them with their arm around members of the Westboro Baptist Church and also got their autograph, the person was as thick as 2 short planks and barely could spell...yet they were perfectly computer literate and had decent enough HTML skills for the site.

Then another person managed to get my Eddie Izzard reference, would somebody who believes what they were claiming to believe really be a fan of Eddie Izzard?

But they shared the same level of conviction and dedication as the one you've linked. So my dear friend, it's perfectly likely this is a troll site and they don't really believe that madness.

Huh, so it is a fake. I just saw the wikipedia article.

A shame, I was about to sign up and release all kinds of troll. Now that I know it is basically already a trolling website, I feel that would be a waste of time.

I suppose we've been had, Comet.

Well, good to know they're just joking around, even though it is an extreme form of joking . Honestly, when I first went to the website and read a bit, I thought there was a possibility of it all being a joke, but the more I read, it seemed all the more real. Some posters have more posts than the posting competition altogether, and each of their posts sound extremely sincere! It was just hard for me to make myself believe so many topics and posts were made just to troll someone a bit, heh. Even with multiple forum members straight telling me it's a troll site, part of me still believes there are at least a few genuine members that just haven't been let in on the joke yet.

I have been trolled by a magnitude I did not consider possible today. How shall I repay this...

That's how they roll. The more you read, the more convincing it is, but it just shows how successful they are as trolls. I think some do it for the lulz, some have other motives, but they're not to be taken seriously. I was pretty convinced by the one I used to visit, it's hard to believe put that much work into trolling, but I guess if you've got a job to do, then you may as well do it well.
