Oh, that story...

I got bored around the point where Nyx became Nightmare Moon. It got kinda dull watching her angst around for ten chapters doing stuff with little motivation, 'til she just shut up and became Nyx again.

I on the other hoof enjoyed this grand tale of love, betrayal and self sacrifice. I do believe it has been one of the most enjoyable stories about the subject of frienship and magic. Altho i do admit a personal weakness toward a villan commonly known as Nightmare Moon. In my humble opinion she is the best villan. Infact my top 3 favorite fiction stories are about Nightmare Moon. It is a great shame there are not many high quality stories that have the honor to be graced with such a wonderfully written villan as Dark Mare. (Pardon my fancy talk, i got my paycheck today and whenever i get my paycheck i am always in a fancy mood even if i remain dirt poor with no money for the rest of the month.... its worth it...)

Well too bad for me, i cant afford being fancy today as i realized that my entire paycheck will need to be spent to pay my bills which i kept putting off untill 4 months accumulated.

as for the story.... after finishing reading "past sins" today i seriosly feel empety inside. fanfics about ponies have become my addiction and my weakness.

past sins inspired me to an idea to draw some fanart (if i ever get around to it). but my idea is this:

a view of NMM's dark gothic throne room (night sky ceileing) facing the the throne with some scary statues of NMM and shattered window murials on the side, some broken pieces of which are scattered on the floor around the throne. Filly Nyx (without her disguise) is sitting on the oversized throne resting her head on her hoof on the arm rest looking down at you with a serious expression.

this never happened in the actual story, but its like symbolic and stuff.

but seriosly. my feels will never recover after this story.

When will the third season start anyway? Seemes like the lack of ponies this summer, weakened the brony epidemic. all my favorite brony hangout spots on the internet, including this thread were pretty empety latley.

I've gotten fairly bored of bronydom lately, to be honest.

I think Season Three is starting in October, but I'm really not all that excited. I'm actually kinda worried about the direction Hasbro seems to be taking.

I also got bored. The only interesting thing left for me to do was read fanfics which i got addicted to but i read several that are among the most popular ones, but now when i try to find a new fanfic to read, its either unfinished with a chapter coming out once per 2 months or i am dissapointed by them after reading all the well written ones, a lot of what i try to read, dosent meet that desiarable qualaty standard.

and there are noth enough fanfics about nightmare moon and equestrian politics

so yeah im bored too

I noticed a trend in my pony interest since the beginning of the year. I seem to become a little bored with ponies, but then i spend a lot more time in search of new pony content generated by the internet but for some reason they arent as good as some of the stuff from before when ponies took over the internet.

I think i am building up a tolerance to ponies.
I need to double my pony usage to get the same amount of happy.

i have a suspition that FiM was designed to be addictive

It's pretty recent, only saw it a few days ago. Also, http://ponycountdown.com/ put up their countdown again but currently aim at the end of November, I guess they want to be on the safe side there for now

been a long time since I posted anything here, except for small posts like above... regarding that, I heard that the Crystal Empire DVD would be released December 4th or something, so it would make sense that the season atleast airs some weeks before that. I dunno if I remember this correctly though.

Reason why I post? I am working on some pony related art again, and spent the whole weekend on a little something... and I think it looks good so far, so I thought I might show it to you ^~^

Not perfect, I know, but this was the first time I animated anything like this. Also, all the 12 frames I have now were sketched, inked and colored in SAI... inking and coloring was the boring part because you have to do everything 12 times (well 6 frames are essentially mirrored with the fore-/background legs flipped and edits... but still! )

So tell me what you think :3
(I kinda looked at references for trotting ponies but ended up doing more of a walking pony, so it's a little mish-mashed)

So yeah. Sorry if I'm overreacting, but why is it so wrong to like a bloody good, entertaining, fun show with an insanely awesome and creative fandom ^^
