@GogetaX - Ultima Online uses one method that allows players to purchase and Advanced Character Token which, when redeemed, allows the buyer to select a premade template (say Blacksmith), with high ratings in all related skills (say, 80/100 Blacksmithy). In your case, if the level cap is 100, you could make the token create a Level 45 character of the buyer's choice, as an example.

Another method would be to allow players to buy power-up items, like Conquer Online. I think for a small price (it's been a while), you can purchase Dragonballs or Meteors, which can be found in the game but are difficult to find. If you did this, it would not be unfair to anyone since you can get the same items even if you don't pay for them.

Just a few examples to get the juices flowing. You could maybe also allow players, for a small fee, to recieve "personalized" armor and other things. Might be interesting for the sake of customization

oh dont worry about that, i made it so it includes normal .txt and .html files. so you just need to know how to write.^^

also in the screenshots section, it automatically checks the screenshots folder for new images and adds them to the page automatically. so updating it is super easeh!

i can upload the updated webpage sometime later for you to look at it, also the .php files in a .zip so you can teh studieh.

edut, but now i have to eat

I'll probably waste about 1-6 months off my life playing it but well worth it if there's a hall of fame *cough cough*

She be lookn good so far, more screenies of the game !

Random ideas:
Maybe introduce a request box within the game?
That way people can ask for new quests give you new ideas blah blah
Quote: "*You have 999999999999 messages in request box*
*999999999998 from sephi*"

Hmm you could soo easily gain money once there is a big community, the best way to get money would probably be of advertising. 'Big' companies are usually willing to pay a fair price per click, or even to have their ads shown on your game loading screens.

i think ill make something like that..
like, you choosing items that you want to craft, and it will show you what "ingredients" you will need to build the item.

Quote: "i realy hope it is not like runescape i hate runescape lol but by what i have seen of it it looks more like wow than rs. but keep up the good work gogetax"

i hate it too..

i had some problems with dbp few days ago
like, i installed dbp 6.0, and then the NGC dll didnt worked, so i installed the 5.9 version, and had some problems with the display.
so i re-installed complitly the dbp, and in the activation, it says some weird error that server is down (activation server).
i checked in the forums about that problem, and i found that i need IE 6.0 at least to use the activation system. but i already had it!
so i had no choice, only to format the computer.

BUT I GOT THE BACKUP OF THE GAME. dont worry.

anyhow, gonna install now dbp and everything will be just fine.

for 1$ per month you can get 1gb of ftp space. email me at warship45@hotmail.com if your are interested.

hey all again.
i got bad and good news.

the bad news that i cant get the server UP on my computer, but it will work with my hoster. although i can give the server to my hoster to run it, but i need to test the server if it works fine with my new features i added

the good news that now the server possibility crash now at 20% (it was around 50% before)
now i made server launcher, so it will restart the server once it will notice that the server cant handle something big.
but dont worry, i made a nice client update so it will notice that the server is offline and it will popup a small message of reconnection (it will wait around 15 seconds before a reconnection)

new update:
now, if you feel like u having problems with the connection, type /reconnect to fix all the connection bugs.

(i hope you all understood what i just said. sorry i got bad english)

and still to go:

From all ive read here this might become a very nice online game!

one question:

Most purchased dervers have a maximum capacity 200 players,How much does yours got?

look there for all my model packs latest updtes and other stuff!

im not sure about that.
tempest can handle only 64 players maximum online.
but i made a small agreement with the tempest's creator(benjamin) that if ill get around 50 players online, he will add me another 64 players to the maximum and so on.

and i also want to make sepurated servers. so like there will be around 10 different servers that u will be able to play in.
