Thought I'd reply to something mentioned earlier...

Quote: "...If you cap it at 200 and someone makes a park so big that their fps drops to even 60, the game's going to run a LOT slower."

You can use the DarkSide White Rabbit DLL to fix timings like that.

Quote: "reflection doesn't harm my fps rate"

Actually, it does. Just make a simple test program without a framerate cap and with a spinning cube, and try it with a reflection plane, and without one. You'll see a difference, believe me.

If you want reflections for people without shaders, there is a nice trick where you can make relfections without the reflection shader, unless you will have the function to turn it on and off, but would save uploading 2 demos

Or you could make a LUA script. I think you got Unity, don't you? You could make the standard script having reflections turned on. If the user would, he could simple just edit it to "off" on his own. That would also spare you for uploading two exe's. Dunno what would be the easiest. I use LUA in my game SpaceBattle Shootout for variuse things in the engine... Very usefull I think it could fit well in your game too... Dunno if you already use it in it thought.

Yeah... I've added you

I'm writing a Unity tutorial right now... It will already be released tonight. Maybe you'll get some ideas from it, even if it's fairly simple.

3ds Master,

Once your website is made you can host it on Drewsgames.com for free if you'd like. If you're on MSN I can help with your problem of trying to 'lock down' objects.

3 things wrong with signature:
Size of image too lagre
Its a bmp. Bmps take too much space and time to load. Use a jpg.
And something is wrong with the [img ][/ img] tags.

i dont think there is something to be proud of from that shot.
i mean, the encircle is out of the place and the building or whatever is it, too big for the map and its also not textured..

[edit] why .PNG!!

Sheesh, sometimes you make me sick What kind of encoragement is that?

When you finish that crummy online game your working on, then maybe you can say such stupid things. But until then, I have no idea why you think you have the right to say that.

@Gogetax:

You makes me angry sometimes... Why do you come with such redicoules comments? You think you're smarter than everyone else on this forum...

And by the way... .png is good for logos and websites.. And for things that you want really sharp... Because .png has really sharp pixels.. And I guess his buttons needs to be quite sharp in the pixels before they looks good. You hate something without reason... Like one time you said that you didn't like .dbo and .x was the best. Why? .dbo loads faster and has a small filesize. Think before you talk...

Keep working on the project 3ds master! And just ignore comments like that...

well, unless you give me something that rivals rct3 or theme park world, I dbout I'd buy it. I know that's kind of high standards, but I really wont buy an indi version of a published game I already have. If this turns out to be a very ogriginal and fun theme park builder though, I may very well buy it.

Thats not an excuse, there was a pip burst in the main corridor a couple of weeks a go, they kept school running, just the corridor was blocked off completely, heck our school doesn't even cut off for snow days, come on, because of a snow in our bus didn't come to pick us up from school until 6pm...grrr.

Well I'd like to see how well you've progressed with this new demo
