Not in any particular order.

UMan - For the sheer enjoyment of good reading.

KeithC - For so much work in the community.

ChrisB - For being so energetic and also teaching me the lyrics to GDay (now I don't have to hum it).

I has returned - For being a voice of reason and balance.

You'll be like Constantine. Your job is to moderate hell. Now you've got some holy water to help you do the job. Good luck...

I don't know why, but I always felt bonded to I has returned somehow. We joined around the same time, were the smart ones when it came to the Menu Extreme thread, and he seems to have almost the same opinions on everything as myself.

OnePost and I has returned. You rock it out.

Lizz,
I believe I covered this in another post but if you could please watch the language I and most of the other forum members would appreciate it.
The other tihing I posted in the other thread was if you want to insult someone or have a personal message of some thype you would like to send use that tiny little e-mail button and try to keep the posts on-topic.
Please,please out of all the threads don't screw this one up.

Well Elizabeth (Sexy Chick) is supposedly 35 so she's obviously suffering from pre-mature dementia. The same still applies if she's any younger, which she probably is.

Honestly,what we need as a) maturity b) frequents the forum often so threads dont remain unmonitored for days or weeks and c) nobody with a reputation for leaving TGC Forum with long winded, sappy, GoodBye posts, then come running back when they've had their attention fix.

aka Chris B, Dodic, Aeon, wish I could recall the others.

I like Dodic too,chick,but he also has a history of "Goodbye TGC" and pulling for attention,disrupting the community and abandoning the community.

personaly, i feel that anyone whom posts one of those cheesy goodbyes,should be banned for 3 days, that thread locked or deleted, so they have time to experience what they invited.

However,if you consider, say, Crows http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=73051&b=21 he clearly explains his temp abscenece and only posts so none begin to spam the forum with "Where did he go"'s. Mature and Considerate.

If such people as LiT,Cash,Megaton, needed to take a Leave of Abscence, I too would want to know and if he'd be back later with more code,models,etc.

Connection problem 1, connection problem 2. What could i do about those ? When i get back, i forget to check each of my threads, so i miss something witch people blaim me for, and when i see it...too late, it`s locked. And this is for FPSC forums, and do i have a history of Goodbye TGC on FPSC forums ? And why Goodbye TGC ? I don't work for TGC, though i do hope my models will be accepted in the next pack.And yes, i admitt the history i had, and i really knew only few words of English, and those were my FIRST internet experiences, i know i acted they way i shouldn`t, when i look at my first posts...i laugh, and feel bad for some posts.
Quote: "then come running back when they've had their attention fix.

I reffer to the first part of this post, connection problem 1, connection problem 2, and i know bought reasons why i should, and why i shouldn't be good as a moderator, but no man is perfect, and that IS the truth, perfect moderators would be highly intelligent computer bots, but they would probably also get some things mixed up sometime.

If you want to say, x1b, that i have no respect for the FPSC community, and that my wish to be a moderator isn`t so that i could...well be above others or something some members might think of moderation as, and i dont think moderating is fun, or suppost to be fun, or making you more important then other members, no, its just a part of webmastering witch keeps the place in good shape, so that new members will like joining it, and also point me to one of my threads that show dissrespect to this community in that case.

And yes, also i dont think that i would do moderation better then any of you.

That's a great comeback strategy - just repeat what the other guy said!!

Anyway, it seems we're just having a little junior high popularity contest here rather than choosing mods who are:

A) Very experienced in what they do
B) Can moderate regularly, and reasonably
C) Don't have a history of stupidity

So in all seriousness, I would say x1b would be a good mod. He browses often, is an ace programmer, and can actually help peple out.

I had missed that. Weak reply,Liz. Given Megatons long standing history of creating free models for all the community and donating countless(literally) hours of time to supply all with something to help develop their games,one would think you would extend respect and better selected words when adressing him.

Further more,if you justify voting for Dodic for his Cat? Then Megaton and Cat are synonymous. If he could lick his hinde quarters and crap in a box,im confident he would

Actually, x1b has

a) Not pulled any crap as far as I remember.

b) Is actually part of the handful on this forum who works full-time as a professional programmer.

c) You don't have to be very observent to notice his posts pop up everywhere, either setting trouble-makers straight or helping with code.

Anyway, Rich will decide in the end.

That is not true.There are a few forum members who do fall into that catagory.
Everyone has their moments.This isn't supposed to be about who did what.It is supposed to be about who you think would make a good mod.
Everybody is born knowing nothing.If you look at it that way we all have a history of stupidity.
Everybody makes mistakes.Even if a forum member leaves,says his byes,etc.If they return we should welcome them.
Why should a mod have to be an expert on something?Their job is to moderate.We as a support community should help each other.That is not a mod's job.Their job,thankless as it is,is to make sure that the forums are running as smoothly as possible.If they can help someone with a problem that's all good but they have the unfortunate task of deciding things like what threads to lock and stuff like that.
I think a mod ooght to be someone who makes rational,fair,unbiased and uniformed decisions.The rest of it is optional.
And I still don't blame the mods for not wanting to venture into the FPSC forums.

Saying a mod doesn't have have to be good at what he does is like saying a candidate running for president doesn't really need to know anything about politics. (No Bush jokes please)

Quote: "oh my gosh you guys take this to seriousley! x1b plz stop being intelectual ok i can read a dictionary!!! just be yourself not over dorky just be cool"

And you're a desperate kid in his early teens pretending to be a girl on a programming forum in order to get attention. Simple enough.

@x1b,
I have seen your posts and they are correct.You do help and you will tell someone if they are out of line.
@Lizz,
If you don't want to take this seriously then quit posting in this thread.I am getting sick of your juvenile crap.Most of us that have posted in this thread do take it seriously.Being a mod is serious business.You have even pulled your elementary-school crap in this thread and this thread may be the most important thread on the forums right now.A lot of us want better forums and to make the FPSC forums a better place to post.If you don't then don't post here anymore.
@Dodic,
You have been nothing but helpful to me and you have contributed to the communtiy a lot.It is not your fault if you have trouble connecting to the net.If you did something rally crazy you must have done it before I came along.
Megaton Cat has done a lot,too.
