No seriously my work could use some improvement......When it comes to scripting and modeling I suck big time...Level edting could always use some refining....To be honest...I'm not modest just a realist that nobody is perfect and anybody and every body could improve on some thing...

Some WIP shots of the 2 new levels

Nice levels come from time and pratice.

As for the lightmapping I always start with only one colour lightmapping and work my way to the final lightmapping....

Pipes come from TGC model pack 3

When I first got FPSC I was planning on buying all the model packs (at the time there was only two) but now I'm doing all custom. They do have some nice stuff though. Dang I want more screenies from you!

Not all designs work well like the current level some sections have hight frames others have medium frames. This level is going to need redesigning...

Some times what I do is remove sections of the level till I get a over all good frame rate and rebuild the level from what I have left....

It's sad to say this but I have decided to shorten this project to 5 levels only instead of the 25 levels. As I have a new project that is coming up that I'm really really excited about........A GTA type game....

That and the very first post.

Well making final tweaks on the AI and trying to spice up with a little fog current setting at 75/75/75 might try at 50/50/50 and I will also be adjust the light mapping a little.

The fog looks good in there. Once you adjust the lightmapping (and one or two strategically placed steam decals), to give it that special "mood", you should have a real nice setup to start placing entities. You are the master of the Curved-Wall segment.

That is the idea...I hope, I don't want to add any other colour light mapping.Have a look I ended up messing up the whole level because of using a different colour...Lucky for me I can always change it back the way it was...

I have a question:

How should I place steam on a pipe so that it LOOKS like it's coming out of the pipe, not floating there. Same goes for fires in fireplaces, etc.

Lol that was never planned it just sort of happened....

I have a very weird way of building level I start of with a large block room and work my way from there to smaller rooms instead of building room for room...which doesn't always work for me...

Well by using your page up and page down key you can also edited the decal spec file and rotate the decal so the steam can go down or sideways...as for fire/water decals I don't use them the quality sucks big time and it just doesn't look good most of the times....

Started to test fog on the other levels not happy with the end result which means I would have to script the fog for each level as needed.I should have a one level demo uploaded in the next 4 hours or so bit slow on a ISDN dial up

I also tested other color light maps it didn't go well with the textures so I had to settle for for the white light mapping but the colorful entities should make up for the lack of any other colors.

Some more shadows. Not to sure what I should call the level yet..

And then the screenshot I was complaining about with the blue light mapping I changed it back.
It looks better but I'm going to make it slightly darker and remove one or two objects for a frame increase...

So all I'm really doing now is adjusting and optimizing the levels and checking the frame rates are running smooth...

Edit: What do you mean, no entities yet? And are these new levels? Because they look the same as the screenshots. lol

Another thing. You never gave us any screens or videos of gameplay. I'm interested in this because of the whole "Pointless Assault" thing you have going on.
