Another thing. You never gave us any screens or videos of gameplay. I'm interested in this because of the whole "Pointless Assault" thing you have going on."

You missed the game play one below

I think there is also a 30 second one not sure if they are still valid....most videos only valid for 30 days..or a 100 downloads
Screenshots page 3 or 4 still with the older textures

Are you sure the link is valid because nothing is showing up on my computer. www.downloads.yousendit.com isn't even loading. This used to happen with YouTube.

As far as I know nobody has any intention of locking this thread.
This is one of the more promising FPSC WIPS.

Not acting mean or anything to FredP, but.....if he doesn't include a bunch of screenies recently, then it should be locked. But, you do have a point. Since this is good, it shouldn't. WoI, please give us more screenies, though.

Wasn't being mean, just saying.

AI- try reading the sticky. Actually I already quoted it. It says A screeny is required. It doesn't say that the posts needs several.

Awww man, right when I clicked post, Fred's came up, lol.

no no no no no....

it needs MP6!

You see,
MP6 has things in it, I haven't seen video games have.

Things like,
When reloading, there's no bullet in the mag ,
but on the 2nd one, there is.

On the machine gun,
the bullets actually go in, and aren't there when done shooting.

Well I edited the last level I want this to be the best level over all so I'm editing the look and feel..

this screenshot shows off the new grate texture which is what I was looks for in the first place....

But I'm still not happy with the overall look of the grate texture it doesn't make shadows so now I need to go and make a new floor segment more work AARGH..! But I love it...

i just read through every post, watched your progress, and i love it the new fogs and stuff look great, it looks so realistic, if only the engine in fpsc could do better, with anti-aliasing, i think this game could sell on the market if it was good enough. can't wait 4 demo

Before I post the links this was a very early demo I did so some things have changed...but this is pretty much the level layout and the light mapping. The menu system has changed but the music stuck.

Besides that the current entities are the place holders for the real entities which I'm not going to spoil the fun by releasing them now.

Also this was I test to see how difficult I could make it's...so you might have a real hard time so peak around every corner ect.Make sure you have a pretty good system other wise your frames are going to be low....

There are no known bugs at this time.Only known problems are one or two misplaced segments.

As always feed back will be nice.

This is such a beautiful, graphical game! I love the light mapping, bit of a wierd way to do it though! Do we really need to download all of the parts though?

That doesn't matter! Downloading right away. Ill give feedback when I've played the demo.

EDIT:

I thought: well, lets see how this beauty plays. Then there was a enemy. I thought: Okej,,, shoot!, but in 2 shots I was dead :s. Then finally I killed that skeleton and walked upon the second skeleton. Then I thought, he isn't serious is he? I shot him, but then I was game over.
First impression: Looks are very good. Everything is very natural.

EDIT2:

Ok, I've moved the scripts in scriptbank>people to an other place, so the enemies wont shoot. It worked, so I could see a bit more of the level. It looks realy good, I don't have words for it to describe this. This can be a realy good commercial game. Shadows from objects looks great and objects dont just stand there, they have a purpose. Great work!

I've made a mirror to download your game:

I played it for a bit, and advanced a little bit through the level. Absolutely amazing graphics for an FPSC game mate. You have really created an environment that DOESNT feel like it is made in FPSC.

The skeletons were a good difficulty, but the player needs more health to be able to enjoy it. Like gamer13 said, 2/3 shots and your dead!

Great looking game mate. My hat goes off to you!

regards,
greenlig

edit - Tried again, and finished it and I only died once! It was cool actually, made me really work hard to get through. Usually in these type of games, it is too easy for the player, but in this one I really didnt know what to expect or where the next skeleton would tun up. Looking good! It really makes you play smart and keep on your toes.

Lol I knew it was going to be a little too hard,I'm planing this for the rest of the levels but with a little more health and weaker weapons with one or two stronger weapons hidden in the levels....

thanks for the review

I'm not going to spoil the fun by posting in game screenshots just yet so here is a shot of one of the levels increased the level size a bit and made some more tweaks.

*Some info this took about 4 weeks solid work to build this level to it's current state.More then likely to do the same to the rest of the levels.
