Ok, anyone who wants to test this has to test it within the next week or so. I've only had one review back, from ButtMonkey. None of the alpha testers who volunteered have actually tested anything...

Anyway, more of level 3. You find yourself in a generator room for a coolant refinery, it's best to move forward incase those generators are unstable...

Another, the gantry across this coolant reservoir was been destroyed, and just for fun, a cable has fallen into the coolant, electrifying the gloopy substance. Better be careful...

The cover art looks nice.
Although personally I think decals that you can interact with and run on top of is a bit lame to be honest. I use them for distance, when you don't notice that they are flat.
But other than that It is really nice.

Bugs:

Bloom screws the title up
If you die and replay the game, at the start a weird gray thing is continously pulled over your head then stays there.
Too dark in places
You can fall below places most of the time, then die and have to restart the entire game

P.S I got into the toilet with the random CD

Errrmmm, ok...

I acted on most of those bugs a few months back after most people played the demo lol. The CD will have a purpose soon, I'm working on it. I also don't use the bloom anymore, although I never found what they grey thing was, because it never happened to me in the test games... :S

The falling is to prevent the player from running into the wall I put like 5 feet away from the station, to conserve framerate, you don't have your suit, so I figured it'd break your leg falling that far...

Thanks...

It's been a while, but FPSC deleted the first map, right as I was on the verge of truly finishing it! It asked if I wanted to save before the editor reset itself, (some resolution change), then wiped the map!

Luckily, I've rebuilt since that incident, here's some improved shots of the Power Transferrence Grid, and the Crashed Tram....

I've had very little time to do much work on this, real life stuff y'know...

I'll hopefully have more shots from the latter parts of the game, for now, here's the PTG...

Sorry, the upload didn't work out right, I'll re-upload it in a bit...

Firstly, I got inspired while playing Gears of War 2's multiplayer, and how it keeps the pace going and prevents camping by having environmental hazards to keep things moving....

The first of my new MP maps is Crematorium, set in the facilities incinerator complex, the incinerator will open everyone 60 seconds, then close after 60 seconds, meaning that players can't camp the central LMG, and it'll give a No Man's Land effect to prevent one team dominating too much, (there's a passage to bypass it though)...

Here's the incinerator, mid-way through opening...

I will honestly say, this may be the first multiplayer map to make it into the BOTB. Especially with all of the features you are adding to it.

Thanks for the positive crit, I'm planning to create a fully MP version of Izolis, as in a pack of maps that would be separate to the single player version...sadly Lemur V4 is discontinued, so I'll have to work something else for it...

Other features that'll be in the multiplayer would be player armour, the ability to zoom without a weapon like in Half Life 2 and Halo, and the ability to carry up to three healthpacks that you can use to heal 25 HP each when you need them, (I may reduce it to 20, but I'll see how it plays out first)...

Sadly all those features, bar the zoom, require Ply's Mod, that hasn't added Lemur V2 for Team Deathmatch. I may ask Ply if he'll consider it for the next V1.08 revision though. Fingers crossed...

Anyway, onto what I was talking about around 5 posts back. I got bored of making indoor levels and decided to have a go at some outdoor levels, here's the screen of when you emerge from the sewer into the less-used areas around the facility. The East are swiftly assuming control:

"Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Give a man a fishing rod, and he'll break it up into firewood...or swap it for a fish."

...and a shot of a trainyard used to transport materials. This is where I have a small puzzle that I'm quite sure is unique in an FPSC game:

Sorry for not updating this in a while, I've been really busy with my upcoming GCSE exams...

Anyhoo, I managed to do some work on the second level, as the original map ran too slow. Here's a stairwell to the first training area:

Thanks, more to come soon...

I've decided that, (as you've all noticed), I really don't have the time to make this all in one go. Therefore, I'm going to make the game into three Episodes. Izolis: Awakening will contain the first three levels, Higher Employment, Training and Aftermath. The second episode is Izolis: Retribution, which will contain "The Worst is yet to Come", "External Intrusions Detected", and Hidden Consequences...

The final episode will be Izolis: Ultimatum, containing Tempest, On a Tangent, Operation: Nova, and finally, Urgent Withdrawal...

I'm finishing the last few tweaks for Awakening as I type, I hope to have it ready in a month or so...
