@John: first there is no picture. Than I told a lot of times that you will be able to change all stuff concerning the shaders.
And a reflecting wall shader is in some kind possible with the normal map shader, which reflects the lights.
Than there is no "gun shader" cause every shader can be used for that, the same with enemys.
And no the Cranox Engine will not be for FPSC -.-

1-On how long (approximately) would be completed Cranox Mod or Efx Mod?
2-has all the features like ..
Relief mapping
Parallax mapping
Dof
Bloom
Water
Soft shadows
Clouds in moving, sunlight and other?
3-It has much more performance than the version compiled with the version 1.07 of FPS?
4-You have removed the "depuration" found on your left in your demo level?

so finally you are now able to set the shader for every texture.
So it is not limited for only Parallax or Normal Mapping.
Sure you need to add a little file for each texture, which tells the renderer which shader it should take, but if there is no such file, it automatically uses a Diffuse Shader so that it looks like there is no shader added.

Also I added the 2 other Shaders which are available through the Deferred Shading of Evolved.
The "Normal Environment" and the "Environment Bump".
Here a little Preview what these 2 are doing:

its just because I have not added the effect to the door ^^

and again, because I do not use the FPSC Lightning System/Renderer there is not this "bright door/entity" bug

Thats just the standard scifi segment with a Cubemap shader.
But I do all my textures self if I create own segments.

well you need to know that the shader overlays another texture.
And the only difference between the 2 shader is that one is affected by a normal map and the other not!

That CubeMap shader is very pretty, will you be able to implement a camera that feeds the cubemap texture to the shader, to allow realtime cubemapping?

Yea, I noticed that it must of been an overlay just by looking at it, I thought it coverd the screen though

Today I have something to announce.

Cranox Mod is back

Today I started the work on it again and all the basic things worked very well.
The old bugs are gone with the new version of Evolveds Advanced Lighting, new bugs have appeared that I can hopefully fix. ^^
Also it runs a lot better now, 31FPS with an resolution of 1920x1080 on a bigger map.

If everything works well, there could be a actual in-game screenshot this evening.

Given the delays last time with source code being lost etc can I suggest you get a release out we can actually test with once you've fixed those bugs if its still going to be free.

Are you releasing this version for FPSC v116 source?

I think mods made for FPSC v115 also work with v116 so thats good news.

Nice screenshots although with a mod using dynamic shadows only a video can really do it justice.
