Hey guys just wanted to let you know I'm almost done with fixing the particle bug. Zeza was a huge help in letting me know the cause of the crash and this helped me learn a lot about whats happening so it shouldn't take to much longer .

Lol, Hyperion posted at same time as hockeykid.

@dolphin lover:

The height of your sig was 128... so, yeah, kinda past the limit. Acceptable enough to not be noticed for a while though.

This is going to be truly amazing.

When this is done, my life will be complete.

Until, of course, EAI comes out with 341 and Project Blue is vamped up.

So much to live for...

Well, why not?

Could you please stop saying what Project Blue will have/not have? This is the Fenix Mod thread, not Project Blue. Only HockeyKid and I know exactly what Project Blue will/will not contain. We will announce what Project Blue will have in the Project Blue thread.

Out of respect for HockeyKid, I must ask you keep the PB comments out of his topic.

Thank you.

Hmmm... Maby Fenix Mod is the migration, but nobody knows it! And everybody waits migration, when it's right in front of their noses! Oh, yes! TGC wants us all to go mad! They will wait till someone finds out this scheme! I will be a genious, when it happens, if I don't post this!!!!

I know everyone here is busy, but I'd like to ask (another) question.
With my ally system, my allies follow me around like they should, but for some odd reason they can walk STRAIGHT through dynamic objects (but not static ones), but I'm not sure about my enemies. Is this supposed to happen because it make the game seem quite weird like that, don't you think?

Thank you for your time,

the AI is really true to life then!

players in online games have aimbots and shooting through walls, and darkAI has nothing less.

(not segment walls, just dynamic entities)

They may try to shoot through dynamic objects but their bullet ray cast certainly don't pass through the dynamic objects

That would be the cracks in the doors . Also so you guys know I have found a solution to loading in dynamic objects but will not be in the next release because doors will become a problem (they won't be able to go through them and what not)

oh cool, because I was spawning an unlimited bunch of them in a room, and then a door would spawn to seal the room off, but they went right through it. I'd like to see the allies able to follow you through doors better, and the enemies unable to shoot through doors.

This is going to be great. I picked Fenix Mod because I perfer content over graphic enhancement... and now I don't have too.

Thank you, Hockeykid. You have made the world a slightly better place for the future.

I thank you.

We thank you.

The world thanks you.

Well, why not?

FPSC is the best game engine in the world but adding Fenix Mod takes it up another level. A couple more features and we'll be way ahead of other commercial engines.

Thanks for the good laugh

FPSC is great but I dont see any Gears of Wars from it, or COD 1's even.

The only reason we won't see games as good as those is because we don't have the size of development team required per project.

Now if we as a community put something together with the best artists, modellers, animators, scripters, level designers and programmers. You could expect to see a game on that level.

Perhaps a more accurate statement would have been FPSC is the most scalable game engine in the world!

I remember that bug!!! It was some stupid line of code screwing everything up, too! Takes a while find but once the search is over, it's all downhill.

I'm done working on my project for the weekend, so if you catch me online and need some assistance, I got a bit of spare time to offer up.

someone put this on FPSC's website frontpage. sales will increase 200 fold

I wouldn't say BEST, but it's up there, at least with fenix mod. I have strong support for FPSC but there are a couple of engines that are just a little pmor powerful and almost as easy to use. maybe with this new fenix update, we'll move up in the ranks a little bit.
