I had an amazing idea!

While this mod will be great no matter what, now that CorVus mod is open-source, it can be added to Fenix mod!

Just think! Dynamic lighting shadows AND all of this in one mod!...

Could it work without killing framerate...?

No, unless you've got a high-end pc... probably 40/60% of this forum won't be able to run it without heavy lagging.

Runs with 0/2 FPS on my machine.

I have a really good, brand new computer, (quad core) so I guess it would work for me...

But if no one here can play them, then what's really the point...

ok my friend, Ive played with this mod and I have seen its real good. I have a couple quiestions for you.

1.when I script my guy for thrid person no lights effect him nore anyone in that manner. why in your version here no lights work with shaders.

2.how in my right mind do I make my thrid person shoot. I see the way you set it uop to where the thirs person is the box player and you set the camera behind the box player so all the enimys are atracted to the acull player but how do i shoot them, and how do they shoot me to where I loose health.

3.if I die then what, is there a way to script a death animation for my third person then my game restarts.

I know most of all of thease are done with scripts but is there any out there from mabey even you to show so we can get a good start.

Sorry if this bug has been posted before but, on my windows 7 computer i can't seem to get Fenix mod work ing it just says Msvcp71.dll is missinf form your computer. Please help, I've really want to use this mod.

I just noticed that CorVus mod has just been made open source and released to the community.

Perhaps after you have released Fenix mod v1.1 with Horror mod integration you could include some of the dynamic shadow and advanced shader effects from CorVus in the next version.

We are getting closer to an 'ultimate' FPSC mod with every passing week at the moment!

But imagine! Horror mod, RPG mod, Fenix mod, CorVus mod... All in one! Amazing!

But again, it would be hard to do without killing framerate...

Either way, Fenix mod will still own.

-Bug causing the screen to freeze when bloom is in use
-Bug causing game to crash at loading active guns
-Bug that causes Runtime Error 500 - Unknown image error at line 42931 when escape is pressed
-Bug causing gun particles to crash game
-Horror mod files not being carried over during build game process
-Bug causing test game load to crash while using RPG Mod
-Bug causing sounds to play while walking
-Bug causing saving and loading to crash
-Bug causing alt fire to not work as it should



Alright guys there it is all bugs have been flushed from the mod. Now I don't know if ill have time to release it today because I have a 5 page report on Chile do tomorrow.(I guess I should've started sooner ). Anyways we'll see what happens.

Tried out Fenix Mod.
Dark AI is very nice, but as I tried to run the Metro Theater Showcase Level with 3 Characters in it, the test game crashed while "building physics"

Great cant wait! Only one request,can you change so F12 saves images as .jpg not as .bmp,that is very handy so you dont have to convert images nonstop.

Well finished my 5 page report, ill see if I can get the download up before I go out. Just so you guys know I added a gunspec addition called

usetracer=x is x=1 then the gun will use horror mods tracers if x=0 then the gun will not use the horror mod tracers

thank you hockeykid. that right there will already make FPSC gunplay much better. looks like I'll have lots more work to do in WWC giving all the guns tracers, and making some new particle effects.

They're basically little white dots that come out of the gun and aren't always in harmony with the rate of fire. Personally I'm glad there will be a switch for it because they got kind of annoying. No offense to knxrb of course, there are loads of great additions to the mod.

You can shoot particles from the gun by adding a few lines to the gunspec and making the particle with the HM Particle Creator. You probably could achieve something like that but I wouldn't know how exactly to go about it in the Particle Creator.

I know because I beta tested.

IMO the tracers are weird. The aren't with the rate of fire, they shoot with the melee keys, and the obey gravity

Are chicken mcnugetts chicken or headcrab?

PLEASE tell me you aren't serious? They definitely do! Snipers have to take gravity into consideration. A .45 bullet will travel approximately 350 feet (I think) before touching the ground. That comment made me laugh so hard I almost passed out!

Are chicken mcnugetts chicken or headcrab?
