Hey! Its me again with a new game and a bunch of screenshots:

After the BOTB I won for my "Disasterpiece" Testgame "Deprivation: Direct Action" I started working on this (its supposed to test a few quest scripts for Lunar Crisis in an open beta that`ll be released soon )

Story

You play as Shaun Randall... after you`re time in the military, you lived a quiet, maybe a bit boring life. You worked as an office employee in a preserved food facility, your payment was good enough for you, your son Mike and your attractive but ordinary wife Kelly. One day, you wanted to go to work, but a Taxi knocked you down. You survived the accident but you`ve lost your legs. They where petrified forever. You would be bound to a wheelchair for the rest of you`re entire life.
You`ve been assigned to a mental hospital after you`re first try to kill yourself.
One of the Therapists, Doctor Van Wargen, had understanding and compassion for you. He gave you an Injection that killed you. You`ve been euthanised. The Doctor did everything necessary so It would look like a suicide.
Patient Shaun Randall: Suicide - Died 21 January 1965
In that sleep of death...what dreams may come?

Screenshots

Features

- Good Graphics and Soundquality
- Sureal Gameplay in the dreams of Shaun Randall
- 4 Weapons with different qualitys and weaknesses (took your advice @EAI)
- Loads of Riddles and Puzzles
- Loads of horrorsequences

The open Beta of the first Level will be released soon, I still have to mess around with the HUD Graphics and Title Menues and stuff.

If you drop by, please write a comment

Sweet. Have you modified that bolt action at all, aside form removing the scope? Looks damn cool.

You can work on it. If this buildings should be destroyed, I recommend more rubble lying around. The walls, on which someone wrote. You should rotate these writings, looks more realistic.
Overall it looks good, as usual.

I'll drop you a message in ICQ.

Best,

Well i dont think he should make it, i mean it is his style of lighing, if everyone is going to use his style, his game is not unique anymore... (just my opinion)

Nice screens, love it!

I dont remember why im on the Wip board anymore...

Wow, Fpsc has changed since the days of playing with the demo version...

This is something for me to keep track of.

You have really pushed this to the limit of Fpsc.

Orginality? I suppose its lacking, but nightmares and dreamscapes are beyond comprehention in most cases. If you can get it closer then it would be far more screwed up. Try having things move on the walls, Again i dont know if thats possibly but it would be hitting home.

I think ill try the beta of this.

Looking forward to your progress.

Hey there! I wasn`t active in FPSC stuff the last couple of days. Too much Drama going on in my life

Anyway, this is what I`ll do next:

- Retexture Cheesecakes Characters (finally)
- Record Sounds
- Release Demo (combined with a lil`scripting torture -.-)
- Start Working on Level 2
----------------------------------------------------------------

Quote: "What mod do you use for this game?"

As Abdul Ahad sayed: Fenix Mod (an older version...don`t know which one)

Quote: "You're wayyy too good for FPSC. Lol."

Thanks

I couldn`t resist
Quote: "

Well... I wanted to get the gameplay continously more sureal. In the beginning the player only can hear voices and wispering...but later I will create more and more abstract levels, use wierder enemies and loads of teleporting and scripting to make it feel like a nightmare.

Other Info: After the release of this game I will continue working on lunar crisis: It`ll be a 10 Level game with even more features than now... to read about the story and check out the style, view this thread:

This is definitely shaping up to be another brilliant project by you Wolf, your style never gets old, in fact you keep expanding on it beautifully. I'm loving your EAI weapon modifications as well.

On a side note, hope you haven't forgotten about your segment request thread, had a little idea on there I was curious about myself

Hope to see more progress on this soon though bud, keep it up.

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Maybe another lighting is corrupting the image...or the segment doesnt fit with the color?

Yes, Most color used in Euthanasia is blue/greenish.

Sorry for doublepost...

I just worked a bit on the second level while listening to some "Tiamat" (great band! You should check it out if you like Gothic Metal!)

I got some fresh ideas for the gamplay as well, but you`ll see them later in the game

Another random shot of a hallway. I saw that most people who pretend working on a game just show...hallways with light sources. I personally think that you should at least show one or two action scenes in your own thread. ... well, but I think that ones pretty athmospheric

Special Thanks to Doomster for releasing these awesome textures I`m working with here! (and TGC for the standart ww2 floor texture)

Bond 1`s Dante Creature with a new look coming out the shadows. In the full version of the game, you have to run away from it. (I do not want that Rambo like gameplay in Euthanasia)
Bond1`s shader is working great on the new textures

Scorpion and Glove Design. And I love how the blue lightning is working out

This pic has pretty much the desperate athmosphere I want to have in the game

The Dante Creature... well...lets call it Angor (ancient latin for Fear) ...dante reminds me too much of devil may cry.

Hope you guys leave some comments

And I thought EAI's weapons couldn't get any better.. I LOVE your re-texturing work on guns and everything else! You also have a very rare skill of making interesting screenshots. I don't know if it's because of me, but most of this forum's screenshots are a bit boring, eventhough they look nice (guess I'm just used to the new awesome standards of FPSC games)

Anyways, keep it up! Definately going to check this thread more often

That Angor is the scariest most freaking thing I've ever seen in my entire life... At least propably the awesomest! You have one of the best retextureing (if not teh best) skills out there!!! That Angor is awesome!!!! And you always have some awesome names for your people

Seriously... This is the most awesome thing we will see made with FPSC for a long time... propably. You are the best designer out there. Can't wait to play!
